Promises
Quietly, the Parthevian approached Sinbad, her feet light as feathers as they moved across the floor. She was simply grateful enough to find him while he had been separate from Drakon. Those two seemed connected at the hip, and it was damn near impossible to see them separated from each other. At least, that’s how it looked to her, since she’d been hovering around on her own and was spending much time away from them.
But now this was a step seemingly out of the shadows, at least for now. She’d been hiding away these past few days, and soon it was time to get back to that. Albeit, with more distance than before. This was among a few final moments she would see Sinbad under the same circumstances.
”Sinbad. I need to speak with you.”
Her face was impassive, showing no signs of fear, anger, happiness or remorse. The voice wasn’t laced with any sort of cunning, but was just about monotone even. This was no time for sarcasm or small bickering. This was to be a serious conversation.
To say he wasn't surprised would be an understatement. Sinbad had been expecting her to approach him, though when she did, finally using nothing but monotone to address him; he simply stared at her quietly with a gaze that would have even made Ja'far curl back in weariness. The captain had done some changing over the couple of weeks he'd been under the influence of spells, and he was slowly adapting back to his old self- but perhaps with something a bit more....deadly.
“Get on with it then.” Though in all honesty he didn't feel like talking to her much anymore. He didn't care enough to do that, however, since she was still Drakon's friend he stood here and decided to listen. He couldn't make any promises however, not after everything she'd done, and quite frankly he was very close to just changing his mind.
