It was crazy how one single text had managed to ruin what could have been a relaxing day at the beach. Upon reading the message, Aiden felt his chest tighten and his heart rose in his throat. His ex-girlfriend was making demands, even going as far as threatening to contact the press about his secret if he continued to ignore her. Just as he was about to text her back, a shadow was casted over him from behind. Locking his phone, he quickly glanced behind him to see who it was; praying the person didnât see what was on his screen. âWhat? Do you want something?â he huffed, quickly shoving the device back into his pocket. âToo fucking bad, babe, because I donât do autographs today.â
britt had been walking over to the water in her newest bikini when she noticed the other looking worried as he read the text on his screen. she didnât really care what it said, she knew everyone seemed to have a bloody secret on this island, including her. but as much as she didnât care, she still didnât like seeing people upset. she slightly stood over the other debating what she should say, but it was too late before some cocky remark came out of the otherâs mouth making it known she was there. âoh are you famous or something?â britt rolled her eyes. âi was just going to see if you were okay. you seemed upset. and as much as i donât like cocky people like you, i was worried.â
