Update: Some kind folks let me know that in the UK (and some other countries), red markings on a white cane indicate that the user is both blind and hearing impaired. I didn't know that, and in Japan, the red mark is just for visibility—so I unintentionally used it incorrectly 😢 I'll be more careful with cultural details in future drawings. Thanks so much to everyone who pointed it out! (I've replaced the Tumblr version with the corrected one.)
