If the suggestion box is still open, Aegnor and Andreth? Do they have the same height difference as Haleth and Caranthir?

Aegnor is as tall as Caranthir and Andreth is a little bit taller than Haleth.

I love them but I have difficulties connecting with them. While I can think of whole scenes and storylines for halenthir I can't do the same for those two. They are concepts and vague narrative ideas for me. For example that they look like a bird of paradise and a pretty little sparrow or that Andreth reminds me of Eurydike from Hadestown.

Andreth generally gives me the vibes of a romantasy protagonist who didn't get her happy ending. Headstrong, incredibly smart, well read and kind of royal then She falls in love with a noble elven warrior who is the younger brother of the guy that watched her grow up 👀.

'golden flower' - oil on canvas, 2023

A little about the painting: i drew this one after i first read about him in The Silmarilion (of course i knew him in LOTR before) and i was inspired by his death. I mean, being killed by being pulled down by his hair is something that i found quite irritated at that time 😅. So i want my dude to rest in peace, surrounded with flower and green (i was biased, i know. I was in love with him after reading LOTR) 😋

I wish i have more time to make more oil painting 🥲

FINROD: Years of the Trees

Another commission from January that I started a couple of weeks ago and finished today, featuring beloved Finrod during the Years of the Trees, long before ‘fighting a werewolf with my nips out’ was even a glint in his eye. My brief was pretty much ‘the most beautiful man you can imagine, with sparkly piercings’ and of course, I am appreciative of being allowed to place said piercings, er, creatively.

He’s covered in freckles from head to toe, I have decided that treelight can give you freckles too, and when I say head to toe I truly deeply mean head to toe aside from a few inches of sandal straps, going off @peasant-player ‘s wonderful early 2025 headcanon re: Fingon being a German nudist who wears fuckall except whatever the elf version of Birkenstock is.

Maedhros got some of Nerdanel's character traits, but incidentally not the ones that would make him a 'good' person -- patience and stubbornness, yes, but in addition to Fëanor's pride, commitment to sunk cost fallacies and willingness to live by political rhetoric and manipulation. Arguably this makes him more dangerous rather than less.

Do you take commissions and if so, what is your fee structure. I looking for a rendering of a scene to use as a YouTube thumbnail and also in the video. It would be a Dany centric ASOIAF scene.
