“Glad to see you’re a reasonable vamp.” Erica breezed, forcing herself to relax back into her chair. It was less that she was worried about herself and more that she was worried about someone like Stiles. Dammit, it was times like this that she wished that Derek hadn’t skipped town after the zombies. She needed someone to grill for information. She doubted Stiles would like it if she kept a close eye on his time outside the apartment. “I guess that is just something that comes with age.”

“Stay on my good side and I am a very reasonable rational vampire. I don’t know why more people don’t see that.” Probably because most of the time she wasn’t. Especially when she didn’t get what she wanted.

     Malia’s eyebrows pressed together. She knew there was something about the other female that seemed off. She didn’t smell right. She didn’t smell… well, alive.  “Yeah, I’m not gonna’ tell you. You tell me first what you are, and then I’ll consider it.”

“you know little kitty, curiosity killed the cat.” she said with a wink and laughed, her eyebrow raising a bit. “so you have a story, like one that is already written out for you and you follow it? that is weird. i would hate to have my life written out for me. nobody could predict the shit i have gotten into if they tried. maybe one day i will tell you about some of it.” she smiled and ran her fingers through her curls. “things that are topsy turvy are usually a bit chaotic. i like chaos.”

Anything she wanted? Gansey frowned a bit, not really liking the thought of being at the mercy of anyone like that. It was probably the best not to mention that though. He plastered a smile on his face and said, ‘I do trust it won’t come to that, right?’ As much as he wanted to know more about vampirism and her life, he didn’t want to push his luck and anger her. She could probably still easily kill if him if she wished to but for now she seemed calm and Gansey intended to keep her that way. She may even liked him a bit. Gansey did have that effect on people - with a few notable exceptions. And if he went along with her questions, he may be able to get a few more out of her too. He spread his hands out with a smile. ‘Alright, what do you want to know about me?’

Sitting down on the little bench behind her, she patted the spot next to her for the adorable boy to sit beside her. If she was any hungrier then she would probably be to tempted to snack on him, being so close and all -- but right now she was pretty in control. “Anything you wanna tell me. Where are you from? When are you from?” Katherine had learned that you could never even guess when and where the people in this place were from. It made Mystic Falls seem like the most normal place to live on earth.

     Elena refused to be scared of Katherine anymore, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t shocked by the situation she found herself in. Perhaps this was a play of doppleganger fate, it was too unpredictable to be mere coincidence.  “What are you doing here, Katherine? Bonnie said she saw you die. You can’t be here.” She continued to face away, biting down on her lip. Katherine wasn’t the only person not supposed to be here, so her words could be considered hypocritical.

     “Bon Bon, saw me get dragged into some oblivion hell and didn’t do a single thing to help me. She just watched.” Katherine spit out bitterly, her arms crossed over her chest. “I got out though. I am Katherine Pierce. Don’t you realize you will never be rid of me?” Tilting her head a bit she laughed, looking Elena up and down. “Speaking of people who aren’t supposed to be conscious and walking around town..aren’t you supposed to be taking a little snooze sleeping beauty?”

He didn’t even need to look at her. He knew whomever was speaking to was a hottie. You don’t spit that kind of game and not have the face to back it up. “Oh, is that so?” He asked coolly as he turned to look at her. Assumptions had been correct. He smiled widely showing a bright see of purely whites. But it was then he caught her scent. “Ah. Well that’s a shame.” He mumbled. Why did all vampire girl’s have to be hot?

    She laughed when he looked at her and mentioned something being a shame. “What sweetheart, can’t handle the fangs? I know you can smell me just as much as I can smell you. I was willing to give you a chance just because you have such a pretty face and I am sure the rest of you is pretty as well. Promise I won’t try and snack on you. Wolves don’t exactly taste all that great anyways. I have been their, killed that.” Katherine stated as she flipped her curls over her shoulder.

As Katherine continued to speak, Stefan’s patience was growing thin. “That would be the plan.” The vampire swiveled his frame around as he crossed his arms over his upper chest. “Cut the crap. Let’s not pretend like you care about anyone but yourself Katherine.”  Stefan said harshly with his eyebrows lowering themselves into a deeper frown across his defined facial features. Before Stefan could respond, his hazel hubs followed Katherine’s finger to hs lips as she licked off the blood. Upon hearing her following response, Stefan’s rolled his eyes to the side as his gaze dropped for a moment before returning the glance to Katherine. “I don’t expect you to understand. You have no regard for human life or any life other than yourself.”Stefan then  curved his body around and once more proceeded to walk away from Katherine.

   False hurt played across her features as he spoke to her, sighing deeply. “Wow, after everything we have been through together Stefan, I am surprised that you think I don’t care about you.” She actually did, and she didn’t hide it -- but then again she did care about herself above anybody else. She had proven that more than anything in her 500+ years of life. A little smirk grew on her face at his reaction to her actions, loving how she could get under his skin so easily -- even just the littlest bit. “If I had no regard for human life, then don’t you think this town of freaks would be nothing more than a blood bath? You above anybody know what kind of destruction a vampire with no humanity can cause.” She bit her lip and crossed her arms over her chest. “Give me a little credit here Stef. After all, you are the one covered in blood..not me.”

I am to pretty to even be standing next to this piece of trash -- but I couldn’t help but stop and stare at both you and your car.” Katherine knew that this boy probably didn’t need a single compliment in his life or his head would explode, but she didn’t car. The girl lived for attention, and she could tell he was the same way.

Opinion on werewolves?

It depends on the werewolf. I mean I had a bit of a soft spot for Lockwood, but you know -- always gotta watch my back. Don’t need a nasty bite in which I would need the blood of a rather nasty enemy to help me out. God knows where he is these days, and doubt he would help. So I tend to stay on the good side of werewolves.

    walking around the girl once, katherine looked her up and down. everything was just like the others. twins, identical down to a ‘t’. “what a pretty name. i am katherine pierce. pleasure i am sure. now tell me, do you have any distant relatives of mystic falls, virgina? i mean one little connection could explain a lot.”

Upon hearing the subsequent response from the other, Stefan’s eyebrows twisted into a scrunch as his eyelids rolled to the edge and compressed themselves closed. The vampire could feel the sensation of guilt run through his body slowly. Seconds passed and Stefan's hazel hubs reopened themselves as he continued to stride away from Katherine. He hadn’t been this person in a long time and he didn’t want to go back. Both arms swayed back and  forth very subtly while keeping his back to Katherine in hopes she’d eventually leave if he ignored her. The vampire lifted up one arm as he felt a drop of blood streaming from his mouth and wiped it quickly.

  “Are you really going to ignore me Stefan? I mean if that is the case I have to say my feelings are a little hurt. I was rather happy to see somebody I knew in this freaky little town, and now I am getting such a cold bloody shoulder.” Speeding in front of him, she blocked his way and reached up, touching her finger to his lips to wipe some blood from it, and proceed to lick it off her own finger. “I know you have gotten really good at this broody thing, but I think you are being a little over dramatic. It was one person, you won’t be going to hell or anything. Trust me, I have some connections down there now. I could find out. She joked with a little smirk.

Erica held her breath for a moment, tilting her head to look at the woman. Danger for sure, if she didn’t tread carefully. Danger for others as well. She let her eyes narrow slightly before leaning forward on to the table, fingers easily lacing together. “I’m not most wolves, but I like a good laugh.” She breezed. “What else have you heard of wolves?”

“isn’t that the most cliche thing to say. well then i guess i am not like most vampires.” she smiled and shrugged. “don’t need to hear things. i have experienced enough werewolves in my life. its been a very long one.” katherine could see the girl looking at her with a bit of a tensity, and sighed. “don’t gotta worry about me messing with you dollface. you are one person i don’t wanna get on the bad side off.” the last thing she needed was the bite of a werewolf and no klaus in sight to heal the bite before she died. again.

‘Compel it out of me?’ Gansey asked, raising his eyebrows. ‘That sounds a bit like regret,’ he noted curiously. ‘Would you not want to be a vampire?’ 543 years. Gansey did a double take. That was old. She must have seen so many fascinating events, witnessed history itself, the rise and fall of kings. Suddenly, he had even more questions than before. ‘That’s a long time. You must have had a pretty interesting life.’

   “Oh darling, I could get you to do anything I wanted. It is one of my special talents that come along with the blood drinking, super speed and strength thing. “ When he asked if she wanted to be a vampire, she didn’t say anything for a moment. She had been a human for a while, and it would have been nice if she wasn’t dying whilst human. That wasn’t something she was ready to share though. “That is a loaded question Mr. Gansey. One that I am not willing to dive into just yet.” Laughing loudly at the interesting life comment, she nodded her head. “Oh sweetheart, you have no idea. Enough about me though, tell me about you.” It wasn’t that she didn’t like talking about herself, she was just bored of all his questions for the moment.
