Andor makes me want to write a Star Wars fanfiction but it's so scary. What if I write "Glup Shitto was sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee and reading his favourite book", but someone comments "didn't you mean he was drinking glop-goppy and reading a holo-journal? 🤨" so I open wookiepedia to check it out and it turns out that they also never invented balconies in the star wars universe and Glup Shitto can't read because of the freak accident he suffered in the episode 10 of the 2024 show "Jar-Jar and Babu Frik". What then.

one of the hundred things I love about Andor is that in the end, all the villains were destroyed not in an epic showdown with the rebels or whoever but by the machine that they worked for. syril was a faceless casualty of the genocide he helped create. dedra was done in for putting ambition over conformity to the machine, and she took down partagaz, who essentially created her, along with her. even heert was quite literally killed by his own droid and his own men. all of them were crushed by the wheel they dedicated their lives to keep turning. it's just so deeply deeply satisfying.

These minuscule black and white CRTs were used in the viewfinders of some Sony camcorders from the late 90's and early 2000's, the whole module usually takes a plain composite video input (in this case I added a 75 ohm resistor to correct the input impedance, and had to do a small repair too)

you know how some cats have insane neuroses and quirks. well my recently adopted cat Rosita, who is a former feral, was said to find toes and bare skin in general "suspicious" in her shelter description. i was like, oh okay, well my other cat attacks toes, cats do that sometimes i suppose

little did we know what this means is that she not only attacks toes but if she sees you with your ankles or bare arms out for example, there is a high chance she will slap you. she will literally just come up to you and slap you where your skin is showing unless its your face. she doesnt hiss or growl or anything she will just give you a disapproving slap or two i assume to voice her disagreement with how you present yourself
