Plan on location

For this shoot I will be using between 1-3 models who will be wearing dresses in darker colours: navy, purple, black etc. I will be bringing in some props with us such as flowers, lighter, alcohol, veil etc.

For this shoot I am planning on having someone hold flowers on fire (inspired by @joshskinnerphotography) so there are some health and safety measures to put in place. The flowers will be put out with water and we will be away from the public, I will also make sure the flowers are not too close to the models dresses as well.

Dark photoshoot.

For this shoot I will be using a black background and trying many different lighting techniques to make it look very eerie. I will be using between 1-3 models who will be wearing dresses in darker colours: navy, purple, black etc. I will be bringing in some props such as fairy lights, a book, dead flowers, a black veil etc.

for my shoot i will need my camera equipment, reflectors, modelling lights, a backdrop and a model.

the model i choose will be flexible and able to hold dance poses while i take the image.

the lighting i aim to use and try out is rim lighting along with getting silhouette images.

i will use various props such as an umbrella, bandana, book, bubbles etc.

Goal Planner

My Goal: To build tiny worlds sets and shoot the storyboard images.

01/02/21 -Put googly eye on all items i’m going to be personifying. 02/02/21 -Finish storyboard 02/02/21 -Gather everything i need, cardboard, tape, glue, rubbish, etc. 04/02/21 -Build ally way set with cardboard and items of rubbish. 04/04/21 -Build any other sets needed. 05/02/21 -Test shoots. 05/02/21 -Shoot 2-3 of the images from storyboard.

Tiny World 2 Research Task

Christopher Boffoli is a fine art photographer, photojournalist, independent filmmaker and journalist based in Seattle. He is known for his series ‘Big Appetite’ where he uses foods and mini figures to create different and fascinating scenes such as this one that he has made to look like a car wash setting made out of pasta noodles.

Tatsuya Tanaka is a Japanese photographer who also works with miniatures. Tatsuya also uses food like Christopher but also takes everyday objects and makes them into something completely different such as this image here he has taken a toothbrush and made it look as if the figure is playing the piano.
