I’ve decided to move to WordPress. You can find the new blog here: https://kiyoshiroritsu.wordpress.com/
If you’re curious about why I’ve made the move and the future of this blog, continue reading this post.
This was a difficult decision to make for me. There are some things I’ll miss on Tumblr, like the countless hours spent looking for a theme and the askbox. However, after thoroughly going through all the features WordPress had to offer, I felt like moving there just made sense.
The biggest reason I moved there was definitely the editor. I can format posts in ways I’ve never even imagined. In ways not available on Tumblr. I can create tables, split a post into pages, and even make a slideshow of images. There’s just so much control over how I can make the blog appear that I’m honestly surprised I haven’t moved sooner.
I’ve mentioned a couple times in passing that I want to expand my scope to other games in terms of writing guides. One of the things I used to love doing was finding good games that weren’t as well-known, and I want to try doing that again. For a while, I’ve wanted to write a guide for one such game already, but I could never figure out how to format it within Tumblr’s limitations. With WordPress, I can finally get started on it.
In short, I’ve outgrown Tumblr and the simplicity it had to offer. It’s time I move on to something with more features and more control, and WordPress has exactly what I need and more.
Here are some examples of what you can expect when viewing the new blog.
^ The General Equipment Progression Guide was recently revised and split into 3 parts. It’s now consolidated back into one again, but the major difference is that it’s now split into multiple pages. The pages work very similarly to how it is now on this blog. Page 1 is for players below Level 460, page 2 is for everyone, and page 3 is for the min-maxers. Many of my very long Tree of Savior guides, and many other long guides in the future, will have this page format. I hope this will make them much less overwhelming to read so you can process the information easier.
^ This is one of my favorites. Finally, I can do something as simple as having multiple images side-by-side without a hassle. This alone can shrink the length of many of my posts. No more unnecessarily lengthy articles!
^ This is the sidebar of the new blog. It’s located to the right now, and the best thing about it is the way easier navigation. Simply select a category (or a month if you prefer) from the dropdown and you’ll find whatever you might need much easier than before. That said, I sincerely apologize for the very weird navigation on this Tumblr, but it was the best I could manage.
^ Much of the existing pages on this blog is now linked at the top of the new blog. This is also where the search is located. The Contact page that was previously on this blog has been relocated to a separate Carrd website I recently just made. Over there is where I will link to things I’ve worked on over the years, along with how to contact me and a short bio.
So what will happen to this blog? Absolutely nothing. It will continue to be available until the day Tumblr itself shuts down, and even then, hopefully the Wayback Machine has a copy of everything by the time that happens. Of course, none of the posts will be maintained and the askbox feature will be turned off.
See you at my new blog. Here’s to more articles for many years to come.
HiHi Ritsu~ Thank you for translating and posting so many useful info!!! I have a question about the boruta seal in ktos - someone told me that IMC makes the common seal now + atk in lv2 and lv4, is that real? Does the common seal also provide the summon dmg 15% buff as the wizard one?
It does! Boruta Seals we're changed in kToS back in early February.
Hi kiyu I want to know about cryo tao chrono what skill build and fixed ichor?
I assume you're talking about the kToS build, so I'll answer with that in mind.
For Fixed Ichors, you'll definitely be using Overload Raid, along with Cryomancer and Taoist's Vaivora Visions. As for the skill build, I'm not 100% sure on that one, but after some theorycrafting, quick math, and very light testing, I've come to this conclusion: https://ktos.tavernofsoul.com/planner/?d=%7B2001%7D055001%7B2003%7Dff0a005%7B2021%7Dafe050a%7B2008%7Dd1f15a%7Bsklpot%7D0090
The Cryomancer setup is pretty simple. Ice Pike to apply Chill and use the rest to deal damage.
For Taoist, there might be some debate on where the remaining points go after maxing Strengthen Charm, Snow Tempest Charm, Fire Charm, and Creeping Death Charm. I chose Divine Punishment for two reasons: it has the highest Skill Factor out of all the remaining choices, and because Taoist's Vaivora Vision only lets you increase the damage of one set of elements. Considering this is an Ice-element focused build (although this will apply for Kera - Tao - Chrono builds too), this will obviously be the Ice-element spells (Creeping Death and Snow Tempest), so there's no need to take Flame Radiation to boost Fire Charm unless you're sure you'll somehow mess up your rotation and accidentally boost the wrong spells.
Chronomancer is pretty self-explanatory once you look at their skills. I maxed Quick Cast because Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, and Divine Punishment have cast times, but you can leave it at level 1 if you want to distribute the points elsewhere.

Excuse me! Can you tell me about the Onmyoji build popular in KTos? Thank in advance and Wish you good health!
Unfortunately, I have no idea what you're talking about :')
I'm guessing it's possibly some kind of casting build that uses the Gabija Holy Flame set, which is something I have little knowledge of. Onmyoji does pair well with classes whose skills have casting times, and there are plenty of options there.
Welcome back to another report on the Weekly Boss Raid rankings for kToS. These reports are made for those who want to keep track of what builds are used in kToS, as a way to analyze possible future meta builds.
This week’s boss was Froster Lord, who was an Insect-race, Psychokinesis-element, and had no armor type.
Swordsman - Vaivora Server
Somehow, a shield build ranked 5th!
Swordsman - Ausrine Server
Wizard - Vaivora Server
Wizard - Ausrine Server
This is the first time the Cryomancer - Taoist - Chronomancer build ranked 1st. Congratulations to 해환 who made it possible!
Archer - Vaivora Server
If you glance over this one too quickly, you might miss the off-meta build that ranked here :’)
How to gear up is a very commonly asked question, and it’s understandably so. Equipment progression gets pretty confusing since there’s so many systems to go through, so this guide is here to help understand the process. Part 3 is for those looking to min-max, clear difficult content, and dominate the rankings.
For Saviors who are Level 459 or below, click here for part 1.
For Saviors that still need to learn the Goddess grade equipment and its many systems, or are more casual and just need a baseline to clear entry to mid-level content, click here for part 2.
Enhancing
As mentioned in Part 2, the maximum enhance for all Goddess grade gear is +30. The success rate to get to +22 and onwards is only 1%, so your Enhance Aids won’t provide much value at this point. You can of course, still choose to use them.
Random Ichors
You’ll want to start taking advantage of the Engraving feature in order to have multiple sets of Random Ichors to swap through for different content. All difficult content will need different stats to clear. For example, Memory of Flame (Hard) and high stages of Remnants of Bernice require high Accuracy, while the Blockade version of Boruta would need “Attack against Beast-type Targets”.
Evolution
If you’ve seen someone whose weapons have an obnoxious glow, they have that weapon evolved. Evolution provides additional Attack based on the weapon’s base Attack.
To evolve a weapon, you will need an Evolution Stone and some other materials. The Evolution Stone only drops from Unknown Sanctuary 1F and 2F, and the drop rate is low enough that they easily cost hundreds of millions of silver on the Market. Any weapon can be evolved, but prioritize Main Weapons when evolving.
Aether Gems
Weapons also come with a special “Aether Gem” slot. These gems increase one of the five main stats: STR, CON, INT, SPR and DEX. To get an Aether Gem, you will need to craft one from 20 Aether Gem Fragments, which only drop as a reward from Bounty Hunt. To level up Aether Gems, you will need to run Remnants of Bernice and talk to the NPC that appears at the end. The higher stage you clear, the higher your success rate at leveling them.
Seals
It’s time to try getting that Boruta Seal to +5, which will enhance the power of your accessories. It will be an extremely risky and expensive journey, as enhancing a Boruta Seal to even +4 has a very low success rate.
Res Sacrae
A Res Sacrae can provide extreme stat boosts for a short amount of time. Getting the Giltine Crown itself is very easy. Just complete the short quest available in Laima’s Sanctuary after completing Episode 13-1. The crown itself provides a bonus to the five main stats when equipped.
Using the Res Sacrae
To activate the crown’s power, you will need to use the Res Sacrae Liberation skill, which consumes RP. RP can be recharged by using Ectonite, available from the Mercenary Badge Shop and clearing Demonic Sanctuary.
You can choose to automatically recharge RP by checking this option. RP will be recharged whenever you enter a town or Unknown Sanctuary.
Leveling the Res Sacrae
To level the crown, you will need Purified Breath of Power. You can obtain them by using Purifiers and Res Sacrae Coupons. Every 10 Breath of Power purified will yield 1 Purified Breath of Power. The crown’s level is shared across your Team, so you’ll only need to level it once. The max level of the crown is currently 10 in iToS. It’s currently unknown if it will ever be uncapped to 20.
Res Sacrae Gems
The crown also comes with 3 different gem slots. It can hold 1 Cyan, Magenta, and Black Gem.
Cyan Gems activate a special skill when the Res Sacrae Liberation skill is used for an instant cost of RP.
Magenta Gems provide a huge stat boost when the Res Sacrae Liberation skill is used and lasts for as long as you have RP. It will drain RP over time.
Black Gems do not require RP nor the Res Sacrae Liberation skill. The bonus they provide are active as long as the crown is equipped with them slotted in.
You can level up, combine, transfer, and dismantle these gems through the Pyromancer Master in Klaipeda. Since leveling these gems can get pretty expensive, you should try to get the Goddess grade version of the gem you want. The gems you don’t want should be combined, which will give you a random gem and a gem fragment. Getting enough fragments will allow you to get the gem you want. The max level for Res Sacrae Gems is half of the crown’s current level.
Earrings
Getting the ideal earring, or even close to it, will take a lot of time and luck. Main stat wise, most can settle with just a 2-stat like a STR/CON or INT/CON earring, for example. For special stats, getting 2 of the special stats you want is quite difficult, even more so with 3. Currently, the biggest source for earring fragments is from Blockade rewards, so you’ll need to join a top guild if you want to have more chances at getting the perfect earring.
Conclusion
Pictured below are some examples of characters who can clear difficult content.
^ This Cleric character is currently optimized for ranking high in Weekly Boss Raid, which the boss for the week the screenshots were taken was a Mutant-race and Ghost-armored type. They also have an earring that grants +5 to Rank 2 Plague Doctor skills, which affects Black Death Steam and Pandemic. A very good choice for maximizing damage.
How to gear up is a very commonly asked question, and it’s understandably so. Equipment progression gets pretty confusing since there’s so many systems to go through, so this guide is here to help understand the process. Part 2 is for those Level 460 and higher. We’ll go over equipment of Goddess grade, the steps to upgrade them, and set a baseline to get you ready to start running content.
For Saviors who are Level 459 or below, click here for part 1.
For Saviors looking to min-max, clear difficult content, and dominate the competition, click here for part 3.
Goddess Grade Equipment
Goddess grade equipment refers to any equipment with a teal-blue background when viewing their tooltip, such as the Vasilisa weapon shown above. They can be obtained from the following methods.
Completing Episode 12-2 will reward you with a full set of Vasilisa gear, which comes pre-enhanced and pre-transcended at +7 and T10.
Certain Legend grade equipment can be converted into Vasilisa equipment. This applies to any Savinose Dysnai and Glacia Legenda equipment. Those obtained from events or Episode quests can be converted as well.
Goddess grade equipment can also be crafted using certain materials.
Goddess grade equipment comes with the ability to equip an additional set of weapons. You can access this by clicking the “2″ tab in your inventory. This comes with the following effects:
- Stats can be further increased.
- Skills that require different weapons can be used. Some may require the weapons to be equipped in the first slot.
- Your Attack will be averaged between the two set of weapons.
- Your Gear Score will be adjusted between the two set of weapons. Make sure to upgrade the second set of weapons like you would your first.
Enhancing
To enhance Goddess equipment, you will need the appropriate materials and currency. You can get the material by running the relevant Goddess Raid, and and the currency by doing various daily and weekly content. For the Vasilisa set, the Refined Vasilisa Scales drop from the Saint’s Sacellum raid. You can also use Enhance Aids to increase your success rate, up to double the base success rate with 3 Enhance Aids and 2 Premium Enhance Aids. The maximum enhance level you can have on Goddess Gear is +30.
If you fail to enhance, your next attempt will have increased success rate, indicated by the “Failure Adjusted Probability” value. How much of it you gain depends on what your success rate was when you failed. For example, if your success rate was 1%, you will gain an extra +0.1% success rate. The added success rate stacks, so it’s only a matter of time, resources, and luck until you finally succeed.
Try to get everything to +21, with the priority being Main Weapons > Armors > Sub-Weapons. Most entry-level content will only require around +11 to clear comfortably.
Transcendence
Transcendence gives a percentage bonus to your equipment’s base stats, and there is no RNG involved. The maximum stage Transcendence can go is 10. Transcendence stages are seen in the item’s tooltip and the numbered star on the item’s icon.
^ This piece of equipment is transcended at Stage 10, or for short, “T10″.
To transcend Goddess equipment, simply head over to the Transcend tab. You can choose how many transcendence levels you want to go up at once. This will use Goddess’ Blessed Gems as materials, up to 20 total for T10.
Gem Socketing
Inserting gems will increase a specific stat depending on the gem and the piece of equipment it’s slotted in. In the case of Skill Gems, they will simply increase the level of the skill it’s made for if said skill is learned at Level 1 or higher, and the same skill gem will not stack.
Weapons and sub-weapons should always use Red or Blue Gems, depending on what type of damage your build uses. For armor, only skill gems can be used.
Colored gems can be leveled up by using Gem Abrasives. You can easily buy 8-Star Gem Abrasives from the Mercenary Badge Shop for 3,000 Mercenary Badges each, which will give enough EXP to instantly level up a colored gem to 8.
^ Remember to roast your red/blue gems before inserting them into your weapons using a player’s Gem Roasting shop. The game will stop you from equipping the gem otherwise.
Item Awakening
Item Awakening is an extremely simple, but RNG-heavy process. You’ll need to find an Item Awakening shop opened by a player Alchemist, and bring some Lv 460 Awakening Abrasives and Awakening Stones. Once an item is awakened, you will receive a random stat with a random value. You can re-awaken items by repeating the process until a desired stat is achieved.
^ This is an Item Awakening Shop.
^ These are the possible stats and values. Note that you can also see the maximum values in-game by holding down the Alt key while looking at your gear.
The only stats I find useless in this list are Critical Resistance and Additional Damage Resistance. The rest are either fine to keep or benefit specific builds.
Random Ichors
Random Ichors, as their name implies, are a randomized set of stats. They can be found by the colored dots next to their values. To get the ideal set of stats you want, you’ll want to perform the following steps in order.
Use Mysterious/Artisan Magnifiers until you have four stats.
Use Sandra’s Magnifiers until you get the desired stat colors. You can also use them to roll for a specific stat if you want to save Nucle and Sierra Powders.
Re-identify through a blacksmith NPC or the Appraiser Master until you get your desired stats. It’s highly recommended to save your Nucle and Sierra Powders by using the free coupon or you can continue using Sandra’s Magnifiers.
Use Sandra’s Detailed Magnifiers until you get the desired values.
If you happen to get some really good stats, you can save them using Engraving and apply it to your other equipment.
For optimal stats, those will depend on your build and the content you’re running. If you want to min-max and compete in multiple content, you’ll need multiple ichors to swap through using the Engraving feature.
Red stats are for increasing your damage on specific enemies. Like damage versus enemies with specific armor types, race, or size. Some examples include rolling Attack against Beast-type Targets for increased damage against Vasilisa, or Attack against Medium-sized Targets for increased damage against players in PvP. Additional Damage is also in this category.
Blue stats reduce damage received when you’re wearing a specific type of armor or being a specific size. It also includes Critical Resistance and Additional Damage Resistance. If you’re wearing Leather armor, you should roll “Attack against Leather Armored Target Offsetting” in order to get the bonus reduction. As for the size, since only “Attack against Medium-type Target Offsetting” exists, and all players are considered medium size, rolling this stat is good as well. These offsetting stats are very useful for surviving, so it’s recommended to have multiple rolls of these.
Purple stats have a variety of bonuses. Some good stats to roll for include Critical Rate, Accuracy, and Block Penetration. For some specific builds, Block is also a good stat to get.
Green stats include the 5 main stats in your stat window. Which green stat you need depends on your build, but generally, STR for physical DPS, INT for magic DPS, and SPR for healers and summoners. CON is also a good stat to get for all builds. DEX is generally less desirable since it has the least impact out of all the green stats.
^ These are the possible stats you can get on random ichors and their values. Note that you can also hold down the ALT key while looking at your equipment to see the maximum values for each stat.
Fixed Stat Ichor (Equipment Storage)
In your Equipment Storage, you’ll find some Fixed Ichors you can use for your Goddess weapons and armor. You will need to register these items using the required materials, then you can apply or craft them as many times as you need for a silver fee. When you complete Episode 12-2, you’ll be able to get two Vaivora Visions for free, and completing Episode 13-1 will allow you to register one armor set, one accessory set, and one Ark of your choice for free.
As for farming additional materials, Vaivora Visions have a very low drop rate from Elite monsters level 420 or higher, or from monsters in Unknown Sanctuary. The materials to register and upgrade more Demon/Goddess Armor Ichors mainly drop from Division Singularity, White Witch’s Forest, and Lepidoptera Junction.
Both Vaivora Visions and Demon/Goddess Armor Ichors can be upgraded to increase their stats and/or grant additional bonuses. Vaivora Visions can be upgraded up to Level 4, and they will grant additional bonuses at Level 4. For some classes, having their respective Vaivora Vision at Level 4 can be a huge upgrade for them. Demon/Goddess Armor Ichors can be upgraded up to Level 3 to enhance their stats.
Vaivora Visions also have some restrictions regarding how many can be equipped to your weapons. For Visions with “Original” in their name, only up to 2 of these can be equipped, and 2 of the same Original Visions cannot be equipped at the same time. Those without “Original” in their names can be equipped as many times as needed.
^ Some examples of how these restrictions work.
Enchanting
Enchanting provides more stats to your equipment. The enchant jewels required can be obtained from the Goddess Token shop. If multiple pieces of equipment have the same Enchant Stat, only the higher value is applied, so make sure all of your equipment have different Enchant Stats.
List of possible Enchant Stats and their maximum values:
* Note that “Damage Decrease” refers to a decrease in damage received.
Set Effects
If you’ve read Part 1, you should already have learned how to apply these using the event scrolls. Here, we will now apply them by using Pamoka Solutions for a set effect of your choice. Empty Pamoka Solutions can be purchased from the Gabija Coin Shop, and the best way to fill them is to run Level Dungeons or Field Challenge Modes. The available set effects are as follows:
Sauk is a good DPS set, but it requires precise timing to make full use of it.
Balinta, unlike Sauk, is active all the time, so it’s the usual choice for all DPS builds. The slight HP recovery is also a nice bonus.
Although Rideti is designed for full support Clerics, it’s actually not used by most of them since they usually don’t need the extra healing.
Severty is also a nice set for supporting, since it buffs the damage your party members deal.
Essera only works in PvP. It reduces the damage you take while also offering resistance to most debuffs.
Charist also only works in PvP. Those who want to deal more damage in PvP settings should choose this set.
Accessories
You’ll start with a Karaliene set and then upgrade it to a Luciferie set, both of which can be crafted through the Equipment Storage. When you complete Episode 13-1 quests, you’ll be able to register a Karaliene set for free. The materials for crafting Luciferie sets can be obtained from Tel Harsha. For the Refined Luperium, it can be crafted via the Alchemist NPCs in each town or purchased from the Medal Exchange section in the TP Shop. Which set is best for you depends on your build, but most of the time, the answer should be obvious. For Luciferies, you’ll want to transcend them to T8 via the Blacksmith NPC or using the free create voucher obtained from Episode 13-1, so you can eventually convert them into Isidavie versions.
When you’ve reached Level 470 and have crafted the Luciferie set, it’s time to use Succession to convert them into Isidavie sets. The new item will inherit half of your Luciferie’s enhancement value if you’ve decided to enhance them, but otherwise results as a clean, unbound item.
Unlike Legend grade accessories like Karaliene and Luciferie, Goddess grade accessories can only be enhanced. To enhance Isidavie accessories, you will need Refined Revived Soul Fragments, Blessed Shards, and Gabija Coins. The fragments drop from the Delmore Battlefield raid. Since the success rates are the same as Goddess weapons and armor, your end goal is also to get these to +21.
Seals
Seals are a type of equipment that grant additional stats and can also enhance your Set Effects and accessories. The Kaze Seal you’ve obtained for free has a very low Gear Score, so consider getting a Boruta Seal as soon as possible. These drop from various content, like Tel Harsha and Unknown Sanctuary. You can also craft a random one using Boruta Seal Fragments or purchase them from other players via the Market. To upgrade them, you’ll need to sacrifice a seal of the same level and some Magic Stones.
Arks
Arks activate various special effects when equipped. Upon completing Episode 13-1, you’ll be able to register and instantly max level one Ark of your choice in the Equipment Storage for free. Currently, the recommended Ark to use is Divine Retribution for most DPS builds, and Healing Wave for support Clerics.
Earrings
Earrings grant bonuses to your main stats and skill levels. These come with 1-3 random stats with a value of 50-150, and 1-3 special stats that increases the skill levels of specific skills by 1-5. The special stats in particular will be 1-3 random classes within a base class tree (such as the Cleric classes pictured above), and a random skill rank within the randomly chosen classes. Base classes themselves will never be chosen.
^ Skill ranks refer to the row which is displayed in the skill window. For example, if I were to obtain an earring that has Onmyoji [2] Rank Skill Level +3, it would mean that Wind Shikigami and Toyou’s skill levels increase by +3 with the earring equipped.
You can grab a starter earring in the Gabija Coin Shop by purchasing the box pictured above. The box will provide an earring that gives 50 CON. For something just a little bit better, you can settle with something that gives 1 or 2 main stats, and 1 special stat.
Conclusion
Pictured below are examples of what you should have.
^ An example of a Level 460 Archer character ready to comfortably clear entry-level content.
^ Don’t forget to have additional weapons equipped in the second slot.
^ An example of a weapon with most necessary upgrades to increase its Gear Score. Generally, most people will have two Original Vaivora Visions and two Non-Original Vaivora Visions equipped on their weapons.
^ Likewise for armor.
^ An example of a Level 470 Wizard character ready to comfortably clear mid-level content.
Tip: You can type /memberinfo (Team Name) in the chatbox or right-click someone’s character and select “Character Info” to view their equipment.
How to gear up is a very commonly asked question, and it’s understandably so. Equipment progression gets pretty confusing since there’s so many systems to go through, so this guide is here to help understand the process. Part 1 is for those who are Level 459 and below and just started or returned to the game.
For Saviors who have reached Level 460 and are ready to take the next step to craft gear suitable for entry and mid level content, click here for part 2.
For Saviors who are ready to min-max, clear difficult content, and dominate the competition, click here for part 3.
Equipment Recommendation by Type
Before we get into the actual purpose of this guide, you may be wondering which type of equipment is best for you. Here’s my recommendation.
Plate Armor: Plate has the best Physical Defense, but the lowest Magic Defense. Although physical damage is quite common, there’s almost no reason to use plate armor. Enhancing your armor and applying specific stats to your gear via “Random Ichors” (explained much later in this guide) is enough to survive any content.
Cloth Armor: Cloth has the lowest Physical Defense, but the highest Magic Defense. Full support Cleric builds require cloth armor, since the [Arts] Cloth Mastery: Healing provides a very large boost to their Healing stat.
Leather Armor: Leather has equal Physical Defense and Magic Defense, and both stats are higher than Plate’s Magic Defense and Cloth’s Physical Defense. What makes Leather stand out though, is the Leather Mastery: Dexterity attribute everyone gets. It increases both Physical and Magic damage by +15%, Critical Chance by +20%, and increases the Critical Chance cap by +10%. All DPS builds should always go for Leather.
-- Weapon --
One-Handed Sword: Hackapells and Scouts need it. Highlanders and Blossom Bladers can also use them. Scouts equip these on their sub-weapon slot to act as a stat stick.
Two-Handed Sword: Highlanders and Blossom Bladers can use these. Doppelsoeldners on the other hand, require them.
One-Handed Spear: Retiarius requires this type of weapon. Hoplites, Cataphracts, and Dragoons can also use them.
Two-Handed Spear: Lancers require this type of weapon. Hoplites, Cataphracts and Dragoons can also use them.
Rapier: Only Fencers and Matadors can use them.
Rod: Rods haven’t been good for a few years now. There’s also barely any reason for Wizards to use a Shield as well except for Cryomancers due to having an attribute for it. But even then, using a Staff and Trinket is still a better combo.
Staff: Staves are currently the best weapon for all Wizards.
Bow: Mergens and Hwarangs require this type of weapon. Rangers and Fletchers can also use them as well.
Crossbow: Quarrel Shooters and Arbalesters require this type of weapon.
Cannon: Cannoneers and Matrosses require this type of weapon. Arquebusiers can also use them.
Musket: Musketeers and Tiger Hunters require this type of weapon. Arquebusiers can also use them.
One-Handed Blunt Weapon: Full support Clerics should use these.
Two-Handed Blunt Weapon: All DPS Clerics should use these.
Dagger: Assassins, Rogues, Clowns and Arditi require this type of weapon. If you’re using a one-handed weapon, you don’t require a shield in the sub-weapon slot, and if your base class can equip daggers, chances are you’ll be using one.
Pistol: Schwarzer Reiters, Bullet Markers, Sheriffs, and Hakkapeliters require this type of weapon.
Shield: Shields are usable when equipping one-handed weapons. Peltastas, Rodeleros, and Murmillos require them. Quarrel Shooters also need one since their best skill, “Block and Shoot” require one.
Weapon Ornament (Trinket): These are only usable with a two-handed weapon, so anyone who uses one should use them.
Growth Equipment
You’ll be using Growth equipment to help you level up. These are Legend grade gear whose stats they give adjust according to your Character Level, up to Level 440.
The boxes they come in are automatically given to you upon creating a new character, or from the Wings of Vaivora NPCs in Klaipeda and Orsha. The NPCs will provide an unlimited supply of them, so feel free to take advantage of it.
Episode 12-1 Savinose Dysnai
When you complete Episode 12-1, you will receive a set of Savinose Dysnai equipment. Unlike Growth gear, this is once per team and is an optional sidegrade. If available, you will need to farm an event in order to upgrade this set further. Usually, there will be an event NPC with a shop that sells the needed scrolls. Buy every scroll in there with the event currency and use them on your Episode 12-1 equipment. Some important equipment mechanics will need to be learned should you choose to upgrade your Episode 12-1 gear.
Set Effects
By using the event scrolls, you can apply a set effect of your choice.
Do not apply Essera or Charist. These only work in PvP and most PvP settings require Goddess grade gear equipped to even access.
Fixed Ichor (Vaivora Visions)
Vaivora Visions are a type of Fixed Ichor available for weapons. These add additional stats while also improving the skills of a specific class. Simply choose two different Visions using the event scrolls, which will add the Level 1 versions. You can change the Ichor applied by using another event scroll, so if the next event has one as a reward, feel free to take the opportunity to experiment with different Vaivora Visions.
Seals
You can claim a free Kaze Seal by completing a very short quest in Vedas Plateau.
Arks
While completing Episode 12-1 quests, you will obtain a free Ark such as the one pictured above. Equip it, but do not level it up.
Conclusion
Pictured below is an example of what you should have at the end.

There’s noticeably a lot less Doppel users this week in the Vaivora server. In it’s place in the usual Hoplite/Blossom Blader build is Nak Muay instead.
Since the March 15, 2022 patch in iToS, a new set of group attributes were introduced to Cleric. These attributes let Clerics easily change their stat growth ratio and the property of all of their attack skills just by turning on one of these attributes, which now makes them the most diverse class tree in Tree of Savior. Finally, we are able to include classes like Exorcist in a physical build, or Zealot in a magical build. In this post, we’ll compare the pros and cons of building a physical Cleric versus a magic Cleric.
The Property Change Attributes
By turning on one of these attributes, the following will be changed.
The Stat Growth Ratio, which determines the automatic distribution of stat points obtained upon leveling up, of all Cleric classes will be changed. For example, if I were to turn on the “Property Change: Magic” attribute, then the STR ratio of Chaplain will now be its INT value, and its DEX ratio will now be its SPR. If I turned on the “Property Change: Physical” attribute instead, then there would be no effect on Chaplain’s Stat Growth Ratio, since it would transfer the class’ 0% INT to STR and 0% SPR to DEX.
The attributes will also change the property of all attack skills for all Cleric classes. So if I were to turn on the “Property Change: Magic” attribute, then God Smash, for example, will now be [Magic] - [Holy] instead of [Physical] - [Strike], and its damage will scale off Magic Attack instead of Physical Attack. Conversely, turning on the “Property Change: Physical” attribute will have no effect on this particular skill, since it is already a [Physical] - [Strike] skill whose damage scales off Physical Attack by default.
Physical Cleric Pros and Cons
- Naturally higher DEX, which means faster Attack Speed. Basic attacks and some skills will execute faster as a result.
- Naturally lower SPR, which means the Healing stat will be lower. Most healing skills will recover very little HP.
- Able to use the Pyktis accessory set. The Isidavie version of the Pyktis and Triukas sets deal the same damage per 3 seconds, but Pyktis requires you to activate it every second to reach the same DPS as Triukas.
Magic Cleric Pros and Cons
- Naturally higher SPR, which means the Healing stat will be higher. Most healing skills will recover more HP.
- Naturally lower DEX, which means slower Attack Speed. Basic attacks and some skills will execute slower as a result.
- Able to use the Triukas accessory set. The Isidavie versions of the Pyktis and Triukas sets deal the same damage per 3 seconds, but reaching Triukas’ potential DPS is much easier since it activates once per 3 seconds, compared to Pyktis which activates every 1 second and needs that per second activation to reach the same DPS as Triukas.
- Can benefit from Miko’s Kagura Dance, a buff and a debuff that only benefits magic builds.
In conclusion, it mostly doesn’t matter whether you build as a physical Cleric or a magic Cleric. They will both theoretically deal the same damage. Support Clerics, however, will obviously need to build as a magic Cleric.

Card Album Parties are community-organized events where a group of players fight boss monsters summoned from Card Albums for a chance to get either valuable cards or fodder cards used to enhance cards. This short guide will show you how these parties are organized and how to ensure a fair and fun event for all participants.
Obtaining Card Albums
Card Albums can be obtained from various sources, but the easiest method is to buy a “Monster Card Album: All Colors” from the Mercenary Badge Shop for 150 Mercenary Badges. This album will spawn a random boss monster from the Red, Blue, Purple, or Green category.
Spawning and Defeating the Boss Monster
Card Albums can only be used in a field map, so pick any map of your choice to spawn a boss monster. Once spawned, simply defeat it to obtain a card drop. It will either be an Enhancement Card: 100 or the card featuring the defeated boss monster. To ensure maximum rewards are distributed fairly for all participants, please make note of the following and organize your parties accordingly.
- Because cards will only drop for the top 5 DPS and the parties they are in, a maximum of 25 players can participate in a Card Album Party.
- Each party should decide which member will attack the boss. Once decided, only the chosen player should attack the boss. The rest of the party members should never attack the boss under any circumstances. Just sit back, watch the cards flow, and of course loot them.
- Due to the very low HP of Card Album bosses, the players that will DPS the boss should take care to do the following so that each party’s DPS has a chance to hit the boss:
~ Unequip any items that activate additional attack effects, which includes, but is not limited to: All Goddess Cards (except Lada), Pyktis/Triukas/Pridetti accessories, and Arks.
~ Use your weakest attack. Most of the time, that would be your basic attack.
- Bring a Chronomancer or two with Reincarnate and make sure the “Reincarnate: Ally” attribute is off. Card Album bosses have a very low chance to be respawned via the Reincarnate skill, so if you see a boss monster whose card you want, have the Chronomancer cast Reincarnate on it for another chance at dropping the card you want.
- If you have multiple Chronomancers casting Reincarnate, you will need to coordinate with each other. Only cast Reincarnate on a single boss monster once, or else if the first Reincarnate succeeded, the next one may result in a failure and overwrite the previously successful Reincarnate. Also, if the first Reincarnate casted was a failure, the next ones that are cast will always result in a failure.

Do you know how to increase gear score? I want to do some raids but some of it said that my gear score is too low.
I have +10 transcend Balinta eq + armor, ark, boruta seal lvl 1
Try clicking on the ! button in your inventory. It will tell you if you're missing a certain upgrade on your gear.
And if you are, you can follow this guide to help you learn how to apply those missing upgrades: https://kiyoshiro-ritsu.tumblr.com/post/615632431121367040/general-equipment-progression-guide
Since I'm not entirely sure what you could be missing, I'll go ahead and give you a screenshot of all my gear so you have a better idea of what you should have. At the time of this post, my Gear Score is currently 7256.
Some of these, you may not be able to get right away (such as the +3 Boruta Seal) and that's okay. If you need to replace your Galimive Ichors with Coordination but don't have one registered in your Equipment Storage, my advice would be to do the following:
- Check if there's a reset event going on right now that gives free Vaivora Vision Extract Vouchers. (It currently is at the time of this post)
- Find the NPC that gives you the free extract vouchers and claim one. (It's usually either a Reset Helper or the Goddess Ingredient Exchange Helper)
- Buy the cheapest Vaivora Vision you can find on the Market and register it into your Equipment Storage.
- Use the free Vaivora Vision Extract Voucher the NPC gave you and extract the Vaivora Vision you just registered. You will get a voucher that lets you register any level 1 Vaivora Vision.
- Use that voucher to register Coordination and apply it to 2 of your weapons.
All of that said, I should redo my random ichors soon...

Tips for Getting Started for New/Returning Players
Tree of Savior has a very steep learning curve. There’s quite a handful of things thrown at newbies and returners, and sometimes they miss out on some stuff simply because they’re unaware of it. This short guide will help such players get a better head start in the game.
1. Creating a Lv 440 character vs creating a Lv 1 character
You might have already noticed that creating a level 440 character is mandatory. This is because IMC has chosen to obsolete all content before Episode 12. Since the Episode 14 update, this was added to get players right into the more relevant content. I personally would recommend creating a level 440 character over a level 1 character for this very reason, unless you want to experience the story starting from Episode 1.
2. New/Returning Saviors Settling Support
All new and returning players will have daily rewards just for logging in daily. These contain valuable items to help them progress through the game. Check this post for more details about the rewards.
3. Completing Episode Quests
Right when you complete the Moroth Embassy quests, you should do the following Episode Quests pictured above. The rewards for Episode 12-1, 12-2, and 13-1 are a must-have to get started. Episode 13-1 in particular requires you to be level 458 to fully complete. Currently, the best way to quickly gain some more levels is to run solo Challenge Modes in Episode 13 maps or higher or run Level Dungeons, along with using EXP booster items like x8/x32 EXP Tomes.
4. Claiming Additional Growth Gear/Kedora Merchant Support Supplies
One of the important NPCs you’ll likely visit often are the Wings of Vaivora NPCs Lena and Rosia, who are in Klaipeda and Orsha, respectively. They will give you some extra attribute points and EXP Cards, along with an unlimited supply of Growth gear. Returning players won’t have a box of Growth gear automatically given to their current characters, so visiting these NPCs and grabbing these boxes is highly recommended.
5. Missing items? Check your Market retrieve tab!
If you’re a returning player and have noticed some items are missing, it’s highly likely they were sent to the character’s Market retrieve tab. Make sure this is the first thing you do when you log in.
