Just watched the finale of Good Omens and here's a few of my thoughts (SPOILERS INVOLVED):

We should've gotten more time with Crowley being pissed with Aziraphale, and Aziraphale trying to make it up to him. I really wanted to see that angel beg for forgiveness with tears and everything. I know I'm also spoiled with AO3 angst with happy ending fics too though.

I wish we had more time with Muriel, they're so precious. Again, AO3 has spoiled me with Muriel having a close connection with Crowley and running the shop.

We should've gotten more time with Jesus, more than just a handful of moments. He felt like a side plot in a way, which is a shame cause he was played as an absolute cutie pie doing his best. (Side note: him and Adam from season 1 being together in the finale?!? LOVE! I'll be keeping my eye on AO3 for that.)

I feel like the entire street having suffered the way it did was kinda left field with the lack of context we were given, aside from being told. There could've been a better way to show how much time has passed and how much Aziraphale brought to that street all those years of living there.

NINA AND MAGGIE ARE NOT EVEN MENTIONED? ONLY ELUDED TO? WHERE ARE MY LESBIANS? (Ideally helping Crowley cope with being left by Aziraphale, thanks for that healing idea fanfic writers.)

Why is the Bentley treated more like an inanimate object rather than The Bentley that we all know has a life and a (probably) soul? Crowley and the Bentley are family, wtf do you mean?

We should've gotten a slower build up of Archangel Michael showing signs of insanity. She shifted much too fast, for my taste.

The Metatron, who so many of us thought would be the big bad of the season, only got two scenes. Why make such a big deal out of him the last two seasons only to kill him off in the first ten minutes?

Then of course we have the final 20 minutes with Aziraphale and Crowley. I have mixed feelings about this, cause at least they get reincarnated and end up living in south downs as a married couple, right? But I don't know, I feel like it devalued the amount of love they held for each other over six thousand years by just having them meet as humans with zero memory of their shared past. They didn't even fully kiss, which would've been a perfect parallel for how the last season ended. It just felt kind of placating? I don't know.

Anyway, those are my two cents. David and Michael acted the hell/heaven out of what they had and I'm truly grateful for them and all their passion over the last seven years.
