Gorgeous 1960s vintage dress by Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman. Shannon Rodgers was a Hollywood costume designer, who did the costumes for the original Cleopatra film by Cecil B DeMille in 1934. He also designed for many movie stars and first ladies. He was known for doing Americanized versions of Balenciaga. There is also a made in USA union label on the side seam and a paper label with an order and style number. Measurements are 15 inches pit to pit 12 inch waist 36 inch shoulder to hem arm holes or 6 inches. Cream with brown piping, buttons and polka dots. Fully lined. No care or fabric content tag. Feels like a heavy cotton like material with no stretch. The large fabric buttons are loose. There is a hook and eye closure as well at the waist that is missing the eye. Light staining on the white lining near the dry clean only tag. For its age it is in very nice condition. Fits like a modern day XXS-XS. Namaste
