In new leaf, on main street near the bench area, there should be a little apartment complex. Your character could go in and there would be stairs or an elevator that leads to the rooms and on rare occasions you could catch one one of the NPCs (tom nook, pelly, etc.) unlocking their door and they would invite you in for a minute so you could look at their house and get like two different dialogues per visit. don’t evEN TELL ME YOU WOULDNT ENJOY THT.
