I felt like I was inside a video game while reading Solaris. Then I found out that The Invincible game was inspired by Stanislaw Lem's novel so I bought it immediately even tho I haven't read the book yet. Idk if playing the game first would ruin the magic of the novel I really want to play it

Idk if I missed something or if my expectations were too high but Ubik was a bit of a disappointment for me. I really enjoyed the middle of the book and read it with genuine curiosity but I gradually started to lose interest

I was organizing my bookshelf today and saw my Discworld books and decided to buy the next few ones. Then I saw the prices and was completely shocked. Then I checked how much I'd paid for them three years ago, and realized they've gone up by 900% since 2023😃😃 I'm going to rip my hair out I hate this country
