finally posting chapter 2 of my Klaine Secret Santa 2025 fic for @rusty-hewitt
apologies for the wait, got busy and also writing was hard for a bit. the rest of the fic is still in progress, but i'm trying to get it written i swear! anyways.
(always leads to) you, and my hometown (ch. 2/6)
It’s only coffee, he tells himself as he grasps the handle of the Lima Bean’s door. It’s only coffee. It’s only coffee with his ex-fiance who he hasn’t properly spoken to in eight years and who he now works with and so sees almost daily. But it’s a couple weeks into the school year, and things have been fine between them around the school so far. Awkward, uncertain, but fine. Civil, bordering on friendly. He’s not expecting anything more than being friends again. And it’s only coffee today, but it’s a step in the right direction, he hopes.
An original song I wrote for my fic Find Our Rhythm Again
It's the song Blaine writes and performs on stage at the charity concert in Chapter 5.
It isn't the best recording, it's simply me voice-noting on my phone, and I am very aware that I am not a guitar player, but being back in this fandom has really creatively re-charged me and once this idea stuck I couldn't let it go.
I've written songs in the past, but not for a long time, and I have never really put them out there. (A couple may exist on a youtube channel somewhere but shh we forget those, or at least, I try to)
A few of the words in this song are taken from moments in canon that obviously didn't happen in this story (diverting from canon after the season 4 break up) but in my head Blaine was always going to say those things, this story just changes how and when.
So yeah, it's not perfect by any means, but it felt right for the story and it's a big deal to me to put something like this out there, so I hope you enjoy!
Explicit - 3557 words (32,374 total) - Vogue!Kurt, Singer!Blaine
Huge apologies for the delay in posting this final chapter! It's a whole week later than I would have liked, but I had a computer issue that meant I lost all of my original draft and had to re-write it again!
It's shorter than the other chapters, but I feel like it says all I wanted to for the end of this story, so I hope you feel that way too and enjoy!

This is my story for @klainesecretsanta2025, gifted to the amazing @gleefulpoppet!
Canon Divergent - (Mostly) Canon up until S4 break up. (It's 'mostly' because I really wanted to include Nick and Jeff in a specific way so you have to assume they weren't Warblers!) Firmly reliant on the belief that the universe will always bring our boys back together, even if it takes some time!
I would like to thank each and every one of you who helped us keep this wonderful event alive!!
THANK YOU!
But whether you participated in this event or another Glee-related one, or were simply here to read, like, share, and support others, thank you for keeping the Glee fandom alive!
Hi everyone! Here is my next story and gift to @nineofhearts4 and @keepingthepeaceinouterspace, for the Klaine Secret Santa event. Sorry it is a day late, but hope you enjoy it!

Thank you so much to everyone involved in organising this event too. It is such a highlight of the year ❤️
Final chapter of All Falls Down is out now, on Christmas itself. There was a lot I wanted to do with this story and not a lot of time (procrastination isn't my friend I fear), so though I might not be as happy with the end results as I had hoped to be, I'm glad I managed to get everything done before the end of the year.
Happy holidays to everyone, and I hope those who will read it like my ending! Can't wait to read what everyone else wrote now that I finally have time to calm down:)

My Klaine secret Santa story is here. @klainesecretsanta2025
Right up to the line - sorry!
Last Christmas I experienced a bereavement, so I’ve been thinking a lot lately about health, aging, love and family, and generally being a bit introspective. I think Christmas can really bring home the changing family dynamics that comes with aging and the passing of time.
My giftee kept it pretty open, but indicated they like mature stories with klaine as adults. So I hope this is a good fit.
I’d say it’s a gently hurt/comfort adjacent established relationship fic - no one is sick, nothing is really wrong, but it’s a story about aging (especially aging while femme), learning to be comfortable with yourself in a new stage of life, and the subtly changing nature of love and relationships.
Baseline for @teilo. On AO3 here.
Gentle warning for mention of medical care setting & mention of canon family medical history.
Explicit - 7000+ words (28,817 total) - Vogue!Kurt, Singer!Blaine
Okay, so, this is the chapter I have been most nervous to post!
The song featured in this chapter is an original song that I wrote before I had even finished the fic. It's linked in the chapter for you to listen to if you'd like. I know my voice is nothing like Blaine's, but hopefully that doesn't take you out of it too much! (It isn't the best recording, just me voice-noting into my phone, and my guitar playing absolutely leaves plenty to be desired, but I couldn't shake the idea once it came to me, so I did my best)
A few of the words in this song are taken from moments in canon that obviously didn't happen in this story but in my head Blaine was always going to say those things, this story just changes how and when.
This is the chapter where the Explicit rating rears its head - if that's not your thing, I think it's fairly obvious where the smut begins so feel free to skip over it. There are only a few lines at the end afterwards, so you can scroll to read those, or just stop.

And here it is, the final part of my @klainesecretsanta2025 for @justgleekout
Thank you all so, so much for coming along on this little journey with me.
The kindness, excitement, and thoughtful comments you've left on every chapter truly meant the world to me and made writing and posting this story such a joy!
Explicit - 6750 words (16,601 total) - Vogue!Kurt, Singer!Blaine
This story will eventually be explicit. It will be flagged in the notes and should be skippable for anyone who doesn't want to read that - this story is mostly fluffy holiday fluff!

Happy Holidays and happy @klainesecretsanta2025 !
I got very excited when I saw how many options there were for things you enjoyed on your list, and got inspired mostly by the 'dancer' and 'teacher' professions, as well as some of the tropes on your list. I'm still in the process of writing the later chapters of this fic, so there will be more to come, but i sincerely hope you enjoy your gift so far!

Summary: After his most recent and one of his most dance-intensive shows yet, and after about seven years of consistently performing (and upon just turning 30), Kurt Hummel needs a much-deserved break. What he doesn't expect is to find himself moving back to Ohio and teaching dance at his former high school. He also doesn't expect to find himself reuniting with and working at the same school as Blaine.
After his most recent and one of his most dance-intensive shows yet, and after about seven years of consistently performing, Kurt Hummel needs a much-deserved break. As much as he loves performing, and for as much love that he has found for dance in recent years, he worries that if he doesn’t take a real break soon, he’ll either burn out or break down before he’s ready to stop. It doesn’t help that he’s just turned 30, either– that makes him worry even more that his body will start to break down on him soon, especially given his habit of jumping from one show right into the next without taking much time to rest and repair in between. Which doesn’t exactly help with the intent to keep in prime condition as to extend the life of his career as a dancer before he transitions into other roles, though the consistent work has been good for his career so far. But after all the pros and cons have been weighed, he knows that he needs a break.
Although, his version of a break means that he needs to still be doing something related to performing even if he’s not actively rehearsing and performing a show eight times a week. Which is how he finds himself searching for opportunities to choreograph for some project or to teach workshops or masterclasses. Which eventually takes him down the rabbit hole of more information on teaching dance. Which somehow leads him to investigate if any of his NYADA instructors still teach there and how they came to teach, if he can find that information. Which takes him down memory lane, which eventually leads him to searching up his old high school, because he’s a little curious how they’re doing since they transitioned to a high school for the performing arts a few years back.
