Do the victims of their conspiracy want this, too? Absolutely not! But they aren't so cruel as to stand each other up just a day before Thanksgiving, especially when they can't even cancel the date that has been arranged for them.

Blaine can hear the shuffling footsteps slowly approaching before two familiar arms slide around his waist, pulling him close and Kurt's body presses against his from behind. Kurt's chin rests on Blaine's shoulder softly, and Blaine can't help but smile. He's so grateful for the little things in their life. From all of them, this one is definitely one of his favorites — sleepy, cuddly Kurt in the mornings.
After a night out with his friends, Kurt has a confession to make...

“You got home late. Was it nice catching up with the girls?” Blaine asks as soon as the water stops running, working on his bow tie in front of the mirror. Despite the routine of many years of practice, his eyebrows still draw together in concentration.
Kurt steps out of the shower before answering, hurriedly reaching for the towel to dry off as quickly as possible. “It was great. I really missed them. The only thing I miss about my teenage years is not being able to see them more often. It takes weeks—if not months—to organize a single meeting. It's absurd,” he complains.
“I know,” Blaine says understandingly. “But based on last night, I highly doubt any of you would want to do this on a weekly basis… or rather, be able to do it. You're not teenagers anymore,” he teases Kurt.
Kurt got home so late that it was almost morning, around 5 a.m., according to him. He didn't even make it to bed, he passed out on the couch. Blaine found him there three hours later, still in his clothes.
Blaine braces himself for Kurt's outburst – he always loses his temper when Blaine teases him about his age. No wonder; he's only 29, after all. But the fact is that their bodies are finding it harder to handle alcohol and late nights with each passing year... As much as it hurts Kurt's ego, he definitely feels it, too. He just doesn't like being reminded of it.
Blaine's comment, however, stays unanswered. The usual outrage is absent, there's only silence. Blaine frowns and turns toward his husband, who quickly pulls his robe up to his shoulders and ties its belt tight. It's as if he has suddenly become shy around Blaine after 13 years, once again.

“Whoa!” Blaine exclaims when he feels the ground move beneath him. He quickly leans against the wall to keep himself from falling, bracing his feet against the floor for more support.
But the wall is soft and flexible under his touch, and the floor feels the same.
With the next sudden movement, he loses his balance and lands on his backside. At least it doesn't hurt, there's nothing hard around him. Maybe he's still in bed, he thinks, biting his lips nervously. But why was he standing? And most importantly, why is the bed moving?
Blaine looks around but sees nothing – it's completely dark around him. But soon a sweet, subtle vanilla scent tickles his nose and his heart beats faster in realization. “Kurt? Kurt!”
“We'll be there in a minute,” comes the reply from somewhere above; the voice sounds strangely distant.
