I understand why sometimes there is a kind of snobbery about television. It’s because with television you’re battling a lot. You’re going really uphill artistically because you have to sell stuff, and you have to answer to a lot of people.

Best time to post on Instagram?
Does anyone know any good apps/websites that tells you when the best time to post is? I’ve read articles but I want the best time for my account.
I’ve been struggling with this forever. A friend just sent me this Instagram tool that automatically posts for you at the best time. I’ve seen a huge boost in engagement over the past week. I’m pretty sure it posts when the majority of your followers are online.
Sorry forgot to link it. iPhone app here

Wholesome
some of you have never cried over a verb conjugation table and it shows
in Serbian, we don’t say ‘middle of nowhere’ - we use ‘vukojebina/вукојебина’ which literally would translate to ‘where wolves fuck’ and i’m so proud of my countries language
Yours is a language of understated beauty. You have every reason to be proud.
In German we say “wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht sagen” which translates to “where Fox and rabbit tell each other good night” and I think that’s really cute
@inlanguagewedontsay
In German we also say “am Arsch der Welt” which translates to “at the butt/ass of the world” when we talk about the middle of nowhere.
In Polish we say “zadupie” which means “behind ass” and I love it
in french we say “le trou du cul du monde” which means “the world’s asshole” or “perpète-les-oies” which basically means “life-sentence-town”
In England we say “arse end of nowhere”
In Romanian, it’s “la dracu-n praznic” or “la mama naibii”, which mean “at the devil’s feast” and “at the devil’s mother” respectively
In Canada we say “Saskatchewan”.
In Russian we say ‘у черта на куличках’ (u ‘ch'erta na ku'lichkah) and it means 'on devil’s kulichki’ haha idk what is the meaning of our word 'ku'lich'ek’
Also we can say 'у черта на рогах’ (u 'cherta na ro'gah). It means 'on devil’s horns’ and I guess it’s more understandable for you
And the last phrase is 'чёрт знает где’ (ch'ort 'znajet gd'e), it’s translated as 'the devil knows where’
oh jesus i fucking love languages so much it’s nuts
