a little checklist bc it’s back to school season and that calls for a deep clean

preparation

⋆˙⟡ tie up your hair (trust me it’s very convenient)

⋆˙⟡ put on music

⋆˙⟡ get a trash bag

⋆˙⟡ bring any cleaning supplies you’ll need into the room

stage 1 - declutter

⋆˙⟡ take dirty dishes to the kitchen

⋆˙⟡ throw dirty clothes in the laundry basket

⋆˙⟡ put clean laundry into the closet

⋆˙⟡ throw trash into the trash bag

⋆˙⟡ put any other items scattered across your room to where they belong

⋆˙⟡ take items that don’t belong in your room back to where they belong

stage 2 - organize

⋆˙⟡ get EVERYTHING out of a closet/shelf/drawer

⋆˙⟡ get rid of clothes/other items you don’t want to keep anymore

⋆˙⟡ wipe the surface

⋆˙⟡ organize the contents neatly back in

⋆˙⟡ repeat this with every closet/shelf/drawer you have

stage 3 - clean

⋆˙⟡ vacuum the floor and carpet

⋆˙⟡ wipe your desk and nightstand

⋆˙⟡ vacuum your mattress and change sheets and bedding

⋆˙⟡ wipe all mirrors

⋆˙⟡ wipe all windows, windowsills and blinds

⋆˙⟡ wipe fan blades/vents

after

⋆˙⟡ throw out the trash bag and put cleaning supplies back to where they belong

⋆˙⟡ put up any room decor you’ve been wanting to use
