i have 1k words of a bonus chapter so far that takes place after the competition (i'm purposefully leaving who won ambiguous so i can come bring it up in the sequel i plan on writing) and i'm not entirely sure if it fits, but here's a snippet!
After twenty six grueling episodes, Total Drama: World Tour had finally concluded, and the finale had been grueling. Hawaii was hot and humid, even without standing near a volcano, and the teens had sweat in places they probably shouldn't have, but at least the show was finally over. They'd even finished the final Aftermath episode just yesterday, leaving the contestants with a few days to spend in Hawaii before they flew back to their respective towns.
The finale had been the best one Total Drama had ever had. The location was awesome, the competitors were on their A-game, and the ways to get hurt were endless. Someone would have probably died—did die, actually.
Why Ezekiel was still around had been a mystery, but he'd charged after the briefcase with the money, sending himself falling down into the volcano. The contestants hadn't had the time to think about his death, instead having to run away from death themselves. Luckily, nobody had gotten seriously injured, though Lindsay, Tyler, and a few others had been splashed by lava and had to be seen at a local hospital to make sure the burns weren't third degree. But besides a few minor injuries, everyone had survived, besides Ezekiel.
Sitting at a hotel that the network had booked for the show, Noah stared out the hotel room window, fighting the urge to go back to sleep. Izzy, Eva, and Owen were surely up by now, but he found himself so unbelievably exhausted, like his body realized that he wasn't on the show anymore, so he could freely sleep whenever he felt like it.
A knock on his door took him out of his thoughts, and Noah let out a sigh as he stood up from the desk chair, walking over and opening the door. He wasn't surprised to see Alejandro standing on the other side, hands behind his back and already dressed for the day, unlike Noah, who was still in an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants.
"Did I wake you? I'm sorry, Noah," Alejandro immediately apologized after taking in his boyfriend's state. He was cute, all tired and soft. It made him feel the urge to squeeze him and not let go.
Noah grunted, leaning against the doorframe and yawning into his hand. "I was awake. Debated on going back to sleep though." He looked up at Alejandro, noticing a small frown on his lips. "What's up?"
"I was hoping we could get breakfast together, mi amor," Alejandro answered, shifting his frown into a smile, though it didn't meet his eyes. "The others were talking about having a party on the beach tonight, but I was hoping we could maybe skip it and stay in one of our rooms for the night?"
Half of the cast was furious with Alejandro—probably more than half, though Heather, Gwen, and Courtney seemed to be okay with him—and saying that he was just "playing the game," certainly didn't count as an apology, so he had plan on skipping the party after Heather told him about it. He knew Noah wasn't a fan of parties either, and would only attend if he would be dragged to it, but luckily for him, Alejandro had no intentions of that.
Noah hummed in consideration, knowing that Owen and Izzy would try to drag him to the beach so they could party with the others. But if he had prior plans, he could get out of that, because they were oddly happy for him. "Sure. Chris gave me my wallet back, so we could grab dinner and watch movies, if you want. I know you're above them or whatever, but I'm sure we could find something decent to watch."
"It's a date," Alejandro winked, stepping towards Noah and leaning down to kiss his forehead, his lips grazing against dark brown bangs. "Now get dressed. I'm sure everyone else is already at breakfast, and while I might be considered to be fashionably late, I'm afraid you would just be late."
