dream boy in london: 5 chapters, 30k+ words. after crash landing in london, the contestants have some time to themselves before chris comes up with a challenge. alejandro begins to realize that maybe he can love another boy in a far off land, and gets pushed in the right direction by some friends.
i just realized what love was when i looked at you: 2 chapters, 7.3k words. alejandro had been gifted a thriller book by his best friend, heather. the gruesome book is horribly descriptive leaving alejandro to wonder who on earth could write something like that. when a meet and greet with the author pops up, alejandro decides to go to see the psycho who had written total drama island, only to find a pleasant surprise instead.

When the games arrive, they decide to play them together, sitting in Light's bed this time as they design their Mii's. At one point, they switch devices (at Sayu's suggestion) and design Mii's for each other, which turns out better than expected. Once they have their respective Switches, they design other Mii's for their islands; Sayu's are cute anime girls and k-pop idols, while Light's are his family and one of his law professors.
"How about you make your boyfriend a Mii?" Sayu asks, after looking to see Light with only five Mii's, while she has ten already.
Light raises an eyebrow, shooting his younger sister a look. Then, it hits him who she's referencing. "L and I aren't dating, Sayu. You know that."
Sayu rolls her eyes at that. "Yeah right. You practically give him heart eyes whenever he comes over for dinner," she says, playfully bumping into Light's side. "Plus, he brings over cake for you. That's a sign of love for sure."
or; sayu buys light a nintendo switch, and then buys him tomodachi life. chaos ensues, because of course it does.

"Welcome back, Light," L greets, watching as Light slips out of his shoes into his slippers and hangs his jacket up. He's dressed in a sweater, one Soichiro bought for him, the very one that hugs his form beautifully.
L always jokes that he could write poem after poem about that waist, which always leaves Light feeling just a bit too flustered for his liking.
"It's good to be back," Light replies, stepping further into the apartment. The heat has been on all day while he was away, and he's thankful for that, as he moves to sit on the couch. A throw blanket is wrapped around his shoulders, and he looks up to see his boyfriend peering down at him, a hand coming to brush against his cold cheek. "Thank you."

"Misa lent us a DVD," Light says, eyes focused on the pages of the textbook in front of him. "Have you ever heard of Scream?"
L raises an eyebrow, barely looking up from the laptop screen. "I've heard your screams, dear," he replies cheekily, the faintest hint of a smirk on his lips. It widens as Light groans, pinching the bridge of his nose as he always does whenever his lover makes a joke of their bedroom escapades.
"Don't bring that up," Light all but glares, continuing to read from his textbook. He rereads a sentence six times before deciding to give up, looking at L with a slight frown. "It's a horror movie. Misa suggested we watch it together."

this has been sitting in my inbox and i haven't responded to it so i apologize!! i wrote like 400 words of a scottitoba fic and then realized i hated it, so it got deleted. i would have to rewatch roti and all-stars to truly get a grasp on the characters, and i would also like to research more about DID so i can write it out as accurately as possible, because while i appreciate the representation of total drama, the execution isn't it. however, they do seem like an interesting pair and i would like to in the future!! i just hate when i mischaracterize characters in my own fics
this is embarrassing to admit but my first ship/otp was tomtord (tom and tord from eddsworld). i discovered them when i was twelve from animatics on youtube (pork soda,,,,) and i had a oneshot book of them on my wattpad that had over 40k readers. sadly, it's gone now because i deleted my wattpad account, but it was fun back then!

"Do not be fooled, their classes are HELL - they're too passionate for their own good and carry out their rigorous teaching plans as if we don't have enough to do already.. buuut they're both pretty entertaining atleast! I keep seeing them glaring at each other like the other killed their mom or something - last friday, Mr. Mudaliar kept losing his train of thought for almost HALF his dumbass lecture, just because they bumped into each other in the corridor during break! Can't catch me complaining - the less lesson, the better."
"Ooh, I remember! Mr. Burromuerto forgot to quiz 2 people that day! It's funny, it's almost like they've got a middle-school crush on each other!!"
"Heeey, what if we, like, made them fall in love... Like, set 'em up on a date or something... we'd get the whole lesson free!"
"That sounds pretty good, actually - well done, Zee, there is a brain in there!"
"Well, I guess playing matchmaker's leagues better than memorizing historical figures - hey wait isn't this, like, Mk's dad? "

ABOUT NOAH AND ALEJANDRO:
They're in their early 30's and *usually* teach college level courses, until their old pal Courtney, who somehow managed to open and maintain a super prestigious highschool, politely drags them by the hair to teach her 3rd year students an additional subject of their choice for the semester to instill extra-curricular and college level knowledge in her pupils! Who are her students? The 2023 reboot cast!
Instead of joining Total Drama, they attend the former contestant's school - a great trade-off, if you ask me. Their school is veeeery competitive and cutthroat with mandatory competitions, events and tournaments, but the kids *do* get a lot out of those additional experiences, alenoah's classes being one of them.
Noah chooses to teach Forensic Sciences (on Mon and Fri)- he's a pretty ruthless teacher when it comes to the amount of essays and homework he gives, but once the kids realise that he really isn't all that intimidating (partially because they find his youtube account - mostly educational videos, but only mostly.... mysterious ooh)
He's very patient and level-headed, letting students come to him for additional help after lessons if they still don't understand the subject; rarely asks the class for answers or quizzes them unless they're reviewing material; has the world's most powerful Death Glare and always has atleast 3 cups of coffee on his desk every day.
Alejandro teaches Study of Ancient Cultures (also Mon and Fri!)- COMPLETE opposite of Noah - most lessons he encourages conversation, small group projects and actively reviewing the topic as he teaches it, tries to keep his lessons lighthearted and "fun" - that is, until it's time for the pop quiz. Every lesson, he takes 3 people up to the board to quiz them on the prior day's material and grades it accordingly, not to mention frequent tests, ALL open questions. Despite this, he tries to get everyone to speak up and share their thoughts or questions, and makes sure everyone is engaged in his lesson. He's suuper chatty and openly nerdy passionate about his subject; has a midly-well hidden love for palentology; rides around his classroom on his office chair when he doesn't feel like standing up and using his walking cane and often lets students use their phones during class!

Once they receive their next clue, Noah unties Tyler, watching as the jock rubs at his wrists and gives him a thumbs up. "Thanks, man! Dang, that kind of felt nice—"
He's cut off by heavy footsteps, ones that aren't from Owen, and before Noah can blink, he's being scooped into strong arms and carried away, presumably to safety. He hears a familiar scream come from behind—Owen's, he realizes—and he looks up to see that Tyler's carrying him, all wide eyes and heaving chest.
