The contrast between singlehood and relationships is just outstanding. One minute you are ready to isolate yourself from every possible human contact to stick with your thoughts and your thoughts alone. The next you are battling for headspace to fit in anything but this one person. It is funny to me that someone will get mad at you for sleeping when you should be talking to them. Even more hilarious is your attempt at explaining first, that you couldn’t control the sleep. Then you find yourself asserting to this one person that they are your everything. Funny thing is that you mean it when you say they are everything to you as impossible as that happens to be. I often wonder if something false could come true if both of you believed it. Well, I guess the heightened emotions have their ways of countering logic.
