hello there, I'm kmesons! I also go by kaon.

this is my introduction post, which may be updated/polished once I have the time.

I'm interested in science and math and have a separate tumblr for those kinds of posts (@madeofkaons, my main).

this has primarily become the place where I post my art, so most of my reblogs are over at @kmesons-reblogs.

#does this make Any sense at all #i. haven't actually been thinking about pulp much recently #but i have been thinking about other characters with memory stuff going on (my own & others)#and i think there's something to be said about how the margaret rose samuel and john knew and loved was always going to be temporary #because margaret will never again be that person after regaining her memories #margaret cavendish #pulp musicals #<- sure i'll maintag this #theres definitely more to be explored with how this symbolically ties in with samuel's death but i'd have to figure out how to articulate i #anyways. just dumping my mags thoughts here again

#kaon answers #i've been so busy recently and haven't had the chance to talk/send asks instead of just liking posts so that's on me i think #this was delightful to receive though. thank you very much

when characters have to come to terms with the fact that they have been irreversibly changed. when they ask themselves "what would my past self (/selves) see of me now" and find the answer unthinkable. when they find a kind of release in refusing to become merely a grave for someone who used to be. ohhhh yeah. that's the good stuff

although I definitely do not mind where her story is currently going I do mourn for the time when I thought we would get a morally dubious Margaret arc/evil Great Enchantress reveal in Pulp 5. another AU to add to the collection I daresay
