MFX (Makeup Effects) are an independently run company of makeup artists based in Canterbury and London who specialise in FX makeup for theatre and film. We love everything horror, sci-fi and fantasy alike. Follow us for pictures and videos of our work. All our skills are self-taught, we are always learning and excited by new equipment.

We are now independent

It is with regret we announce that MFX will no longer be running as a Kent Union society from September. Due to circumstances out of our control, we are sad to say goodbye to a society that had a lot of potential, and we apologise to the members that showed a real interest. Thanks to all those who played a part in founding the society, to the members who joined us and to all who shared our ambitious vision. We created some fantastic work together and it was a pleasure to meet such creative people. MFX will now run as a group of independent make up artists only. We will be using this page as a company, so please contact us on here if you require our make up services for your productions, films, photo shoots, etc. We will still of course upload photos of our work for you to enjoy!
