School time...

Its that time of year yet again. That time where its still way to hot so the kids still think its summer, but in reality its back to school time! This year is a big year for my family, our baby starts pre-k! Like WHAT how did that happen, didn’t she just learn to walk?! Nooooo, it can’t be school time yet can it. Sure enough it is. My husband and I officially enrolled her in our local school district yesterday! I’m not sure how I’m feeling about it either. I’m scared, what if she doesn’t make friends, or worse what if she is mean to the other kids. But at the same time I’m excited. After 4 years I will finally have some quiet time at home. But I know that will be short lived before I’m bored out of my mind and start rearranging the house(yes its what I do.) I can see it now my husband is going to come home to the living room being totally rearranged and new paint being on the walls. But we will all figure out our new schedules because not only is my daughter going back to school so is my husband! Maybe I’ll take on a new hobby. MAYBE... I’ll finally do what I’ve been thinking about doing for weeks and join a gym...

Influenster Nurture VoxBox

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive the Influenster Nurture VoxBox that was packed full of goodies, I received these products completely free and for testing purposes! The following are the products that I have tried out!!!

Red Vines- My family really enjoyed this candy, in fact they were gone in just a few days time! Our only issue was we thought other brands that are on the market are softer and easier to eat. But all around we enjoyed the flavor!!!

Attitude Shampoo- I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO! It gets rid of the build up and ick and smells awesome! My main issue with this shampoo is the price point. At $9.99 a bottle( and I have thick hair so i need conditioner as well) Attitude is just not in the budget! If it were somewhere around $4-$5 I would gladly pay for it!

Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals- I tried this a few weeks ago when my family and I took a trip to Cedar Point. They seemed to work, though I couldn’t really see a difference. However my first reaction was to spit it out. The initial taste of the pill itself was AWFUL!!!

Blue Lizard Sunscreen- This is another product that I love! The color changing lid is really helpful and kind of cool if I’m being honest. There are only a few issues I have with this product. Its really thick making it kind of difficult to squeeze out of the tube and this product is not easily available in stores!

Hada Labo Tokyo Sheet Mask- I really didn’t like this product, the only thing I did notice was that it made my skin FREAK out!!!

I did receive a few more products that of which I have yet to try.

Dramamine is awesome!

So I took the All Natural Non-Drowsy Dramamine today while I was on a road trip to Cedar Point because of motion sickness in the back of my moms van! Let me tell you once you get back the STRANGE taste it really does work!

Spring is here

SPRING IS HERE...I REPEAT SPRING. IS. HERE!!! While here in Ohio mother nature seems to be having a difficult time regulating her temperature( maybe she has the flu!) Clean sheets, and daily doings!

What is it about clean sheets that make you just want to ditch everything else you may have planned and veg out in bed to some NETFLIX?! Once a week is laundry day at my house and it usually takes 4 hours of constant washing and drying but there is something about clean sheets that gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling! Unlike most people I don’t HATE laundry in fact I would much rather lug a basket full of laundry up and down TWO sets of stairs then stand in front of a sink and wash dishes by hand. But a last dishes still need to get done and I’m not Walt Disney and don’t have magical dishes that would clean themselves.

New Start...maybe its time

I'm going to say it because it needs to be said. I am 25 and I have NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING WITH MY LIFE!!!! I sit at home ALL day EVERY day, with nothing to do. I am at the point where I have like 8 months until my 3(then 4) year old will be in school. What will I do with my time then? 

That is the question I a facing, do I get a job(mind you I haven't worked in 4 years), do I go back to school(if I go the route WHAT THE HELL WOULD I STUDY)

I am so lost, I feel like I'm just kind of floating along here. I do the same thing EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I wake up(when I like because the kid likes to sleep just as much as I do) we sit around the house, I go to bed. There isn't really any change in our daily life...ever!

Time for reflection

I am terrible about keeping this blog up. I only write when I get to thinking, a lot of the time I forget about it and go about my daily life raising a hyper 3 year old!

But for some reason today just seems appropriate. Today is the beginning of the end! Its December 1st, meaning in just a short 30 days 2014 will be OVER! 

The first half of the year was good! We were doing great, then about half way through my husband took a job that we though would be great for us. That is when everything changed! We started struggling more then we have ever struggled in our lives together!

To me 2015 means so much more then just a new year. Its means a new start at things, everything resets. New birthdays, new experiences, new chances to make things better!

Degree #DoMore

Long time no talk Tumblr world! I'm here today to let you know about the Degree Motionsense deodorant! I just got this as my very first Influenster VoxBox and let me tell you I think I may have found my new favorite deodorant! Unlike deodorants of my past that the scent wears off in like 5 min I am still about to smell this and I've had it on for about 20 min now! Yay!

So ready for it to be Monday!!

So this weekend is off to a horrible start, and it all started Thursday. I won't go into detail about it but lets just say something everyone said would happen got shot down!

Woke up yesterday to our water heater being busted and spraying water all over the basement. UGH!!!!

Then today my little sister gouged her foot open on some glass in the yard(yes we live in Cleveland, buts its like 55 out!)

Like for real one of the few highlights on my radar right now are Scentsy Spring Sprint 2014 in downtown Cleveland on February 8th!!!! I get to see a friend that I haven't seen since July, and get awesome training!

So here is to hoping that the rest of the weekend doesn't end in flames!

New Year, New Beginnings!

Happy New Year!!! Man and I happy to see 2013 go, it was sure a trying year.

But with a new year brings new adventures, new goals, and who know what else.

Ever wonder..

Do you ever sit down and wonder where your life would be had you have done ONE thing different? Had that boyfriend not moved away? Had you have said something different and not caused that fight? Had your friend not pushed you on that ride with your ex? Hell had your mom not met that man on the internet and got remarried? 

Everything we do depicts the future. Even so much as sitting here typing this blog entry. Not sure what it will depict, could be as small as me doing with a I do best and procrastinating and not getting my house work done(Yeah I'm a pro at pushing it to the last second.) 

Hell I had a version of this conversation with my husband last night. Had he have not gained all that weight. Would we still be in Fort Hood, would we be somewhere else, or would he be getting ready to get out of the Army? 

I mean what if my husband and I didn't get back together. We would have never gotten marred, we wouldn't have kids. Where would I be, where would be be? Would we even be friends still? Would I have gone on to be the photographer that I wanted to be? 

Okay I need to stop thinking so much my head is starting to spin! Its crazy that that so many decisions effect the hear and now.

Year end...

Well here we are almost a week away from closing out 2013 and I can honestly say good riddance. This year has been a roller coster to say the least. We're talking all over the map. So where do I begin...well lets start at the beginning-ish.

January-Nothing really notable happened..husbands birthday, bouceing back from the holiday crazyness

Febuary- Went to Scentsy Spring Spring 2013 in Cincinnati,OH(that was so much fun and I can NOT wait to go to Spring Sprint 2014 in my HOMETOWN in 2014!!!!!

March-May- Were actually VERY dull

June-June was fun, we moved into our own space, a week before my mini me's birthday and out of town coming in so you can imagine that was nuts. 

July-My husband got promoted at the end of July(YAY!!)

August-August is where it started where we started to slip and kept on falling, we could NOT finding our footing anywhere at all, but with the help and support of family we made it through somehow

September-Nothing really back to school busyness with my little sister

October- Husband got demoted(BOO!!!) but it wasn't his fault the guy who promoted him gave him well a bull shit position and corporate came and and said NO!!

November-I had my best month EVER with Scentsy!!

December-December is the month that I would LOVE to forget ever happened, its been such a bad month and really the main reason why I say good riddance to 2013 being just about done.

Well thats my year in review, kinda feels good to reflect on it. 

Merry Christmas(no I don't believe in being politically correct) and I hope you have a Happy New Year to!!!

Well, this stinks. Five in the morning and I have yet to sleep. I'd unpack some boxes if I wasn't the only one awake. But alas, here I sit watching pitch perfect(love this movie.) But as I sit here occasionally taking glances at my sleeping husband I can't help but think that I sometimes take him for granted. We've been through so much together in the six years that we've been a couple, and he's been my best friend for even longer. From almost break ups to a year long deployment and just about every challenge in between he's been there. Well, I suppose I should try and get some sort of shut eye before the mini me decides its time to start her day. Thank god I have a kid who likes to sleep in.
