"Curiosity kills the cat."
I stalked his account and came across many versions of this man I love and eventually read this spanish post he wrote years ago. Since he posted a lot about school stuff and life thoughts, I decided to have it translated. To my surprise, it was about someone. Yes, it was to my surprise jud because it did not cross my mind that the 🧽 term could be used an endearment. But then, I told myself that it is okay. It is better to know that he has loved before than never have loved someone special at all. I reminded myself that when I opened my life to this person, he is already a product of past experiences and various exposures. He has loved and has been loved. I was too. And it's okay. This is our version now. It's important to honor the past that shaped us to what we are now and it is much more important to embrace this gift of present and the promise of the future. It's safe to say that curiosity didn't killed the cat in me. The unexpected caught it off guard but it remains standing still and always and ever will, loving him deeply. :))
