puppy crushes are such an underrated relationship dynamic. I love a character that's admires another character so much they can't help but have a little crush about it, and the other character has no obligation to return the sentiment. I love when romantic tension/ yearning is resolved by evolution of character rather than obligatory fulfillment of the desire. I love romantic feelings that have to be grown out of for a character to mature.

sometimes my job is to talk to old people on the phone, and today I was talking to this lady and she was telling me how in college in the mid '60s she couldn't figure out why she didn't have a boyfriend and all the other girls did and she got so fed up that she was chronically single that she dropped out of her current school and "ran away to london to study with the marxists", and went on to tell me she STILL didnt get a boyfriend and then stopped and went, "sorry I ramble, anyway turns out I was just a lesbian this WHOLE TIME, didn't need to go to london for that"

The end of the 18th episode feels like a full-fledged physical discomfort. I closed my eyes to be with Arthur on equal positions. And it was horrible. We were losing minds together. As if something scratched my brain, and afterwards scraped the inner surface of the brain, hahaha

I haven't decided about King's design yet, so it stays like this for now.

Every time I’m listening to Malevolent and someone mentions something about Arthur’s eyes, particularly that he never seems to look at anything for an extended period of time, including people, I always wonder if Arthur has control of the actual movement of their eyes and John can just see out of them or if John has full control and Arthur just hasn’t mentioned to him that people sort of expect eye contact or at least something akin to eye contact when you’re conversing with them. You’d think after multiple people question him on that subject Arthur would bring it up as a way to make them seem a little less weird but maybe he just doesn’t care/forgets because he can’t see it (and because said conversations usually happen either during or directly before some sort of traumatic event)
