ADVENTURE TIME: SIDE QUESTS RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED!!!

The series will be streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, not on HBO Max.

As suspected, Finn will have a new VA, a young actor named Sasha Knight best know for his starring role in the 2020 film Cowboys. Jeremy Shada is a bit old to be voicing a child version of Finn so the recast was expected. The rest of the main cast is returning, including John DiMaggio (Jake), Tom Kenny (Ice King), Hynden Walch (Princess Bubblegum), Olivia Olson (Marceline), and Niki Yang (BMO).

Nate Cash is showrunning as we already knew. He was a creative and supervising director on seasons three through five of the original show before leaving to work on Over the Garden Wall. Victor Courtright and Niki Yang will be directing. Nick Cross is art director, reprising his own role from Over the Garden Wall. Darrick Bachman is story editor and Matthew Janszen is composing the music. We don't know the whole storyboard team yet, but Jesse Moynihan, Megan Fisher, and Nick Edwards are a few of the confirmed artists.

Like with most Adventure Time promo art, the art style in the poster probably doesn't reflect the art style of the show. I'm not sure who drew the poster but we should find out soon.

This has caught me super off-guard because I didn't think we'd be getting a trailer until autumn, let alone a premier! More information to follow!

Ive been wrestling with this idea in my head about Fionna and Im worried that its going to come across wrong or me being a hater EVEN if I explain myself but here we go:

I fucking hated Fionna for almost all of season 2 and I think the main reason for that she reminded me of me and that saying of being your own biggest critic rang so loudly as I saw her hate herself and stumbling over things I pointed at the silly cartoon and said “Why doesn’t she just do this? How can it be that hard?” And constantly talking down to herself for the choices she made and I did the exact same fucking thing and it pissed me off to see someone else go through it knowing what I know now as if she would know and do all the things I do and vice versa. Like Ive gone out of my way to do the stupidest shit in an attempt making things grander in spectacle and also just simply not knowing better. Fionna making bad decisions and acting on emotion pissed me off because I did that and still do it in regard to certain topics - i.e. my dad, people Ive hurt and tried to make peace with etc.

Idk this post is becoming something else that might need to just stay in my head as it doesnt really add anything to the conversation, more over its just be saying I relate to cartoons again. Idk sorry to waste anyones time.
