dude the sidereal interpretation of the gemini is so opposite from our understanding of it and it’s blowing my mind because i always thought how am i a really a gemini when I’m nothing like them, but that was our own understanding of it. 

the sidereal interpretation is basically if you combined all of the earth signs, aquarius, and cancer into one. 

the more hard-hitting points were me were; 

-Blunt honesty  -Guarded and reluctant to show their true self to others  -Clings to past people and things  -Extreme anxiety (Lol I have really bad anxiety disorder...) -Paranoid tenancies (super hits hard because I legit have OCD)  -Tendency to dissociate from reality and self  -Musically inclined (I play three instruments and sing)  -Difficult for them to deal with their own emotions  -Difficult for them to accept the idea of religion   -Clings to their childhood (I definitely do this, but I don’t know if it’s because of astrology or because I honestly didn’t have a childhood and I’m trying to make what little I have left of it last)

I don’t know. Sidereal is definitely the more accurate one for me, but there’s a lot of controversy surrounding it. I don’t feel too strongly about one way or the other because in the end astrology has no bearing on your personality and life unless you let it. I just think it’s so interesting how I relate more to the sidereal Gemini than I do to the Cancer in Western astrology. In fact, in Western astrology, my dominants are Taurus, Cancer, and Aquarius in that order, and the only one of them I find myself really relating to is Aquarius. I have very little in common with Taurus and Cancer... I think the only truly accurate placements in my Western birth chart are my Cancer Mercury, Gemini Mars, and Virgo Juno.

ON ANOTHER NOTE, I definitely think that some people are confusing sidereal and Western traits of the signs...

If you actually read this far, I’d really love to hear your opinion on your own sidereal zodiac, and if you feel like it’s more accurate to you than your Western sign!!

Okay, so I am a Capricorn sun, cancer rising, and Aquarius moon, and my most dominant sign is Aquarius. How do you interpret that and does this mean I should look at things for Aquarius instead of Capricorn since it is my dominant sign? Thank you!!

Well, I think you’re pretty logical and consistent, even if you do appear to e a crybaby to a lot of people at first. Truth is, you’re probably not that emotional. And as for the whole “what sign do you look at?” thing, most astro posts nowadays actually tell you which sign to look at for certain topics. Here’s the basic overview:

Posts like “Signs as general things” look at sun. You might want to look at sun for all of them and if you find that inaccurate, read on.
