Just reread Batman: White Knight and kept comparing Jack and Harley’s backstory to Harlequin Jarley which IMO is still the best take on them. Honestly, Harlequin Harley would hate this version of Jack, LOL

Hi! I have actually just updated it.

I intend to finish this story but it might take me a while because life is quite hectic and there isn’t much time to write.

I think about this story while on sabbatical from writing it and have come up with a truly juicy way to learn more about J’s backstory. This is the final instalment after all, and my only chance to do it.

Go read the new chapter. I’ve got another one up my sleeve in the next couple weeks. Then it may be a while before another update but I haven’t abandoned it, I’ve just got to find more time.

New Chapter of the Rabbit Hole up today ❤️

Read it Here, but here’s a little excerpt…

Harley woke up before the lights came on.

From her cot she could just about see through the small rectangle window set in her cell door. A shadow passed over the window as an orderly strode down the hallway, and then another one.

The lights snapped on above her, fluorescent and blinding. It was morning.

She squinted against the glare and turned onto her side, her hands tucked under her cheek.

The Joker was sitting on the floor beside her cell door, one knee bent and one long leg splayed out in front of him. His warpaint was smeared and sooty like he’d recently been in a firefight but his violet suit trousers and green waistcoat were pristine. A new suit before putting on a show.

“These lights, huh,” he drawled, looking at the ceiling instead of Harley. “I remember waiting for them to turn on… and off… on…. And off.”

He picked his head up to look directly at Harley, his expression knowing. “It’s enough to drive you… crazy.”

Hi!!! I just wanted to say that your writing is TO. DIE. FOR.

Oh em gee, I just binge-read Holiday, Pantomime, and Rabbit Hole (so I'm finally up to date with the fics!!) (PS, I'm so sorry you had been feeling demotivated! that sucks) and UGH!!! I cannot even put into words how skilled you are.

Your plotting is MASTERFUL (istg HOW do you plan it all out??? like genuinely i need to know) but what stands out most for me is your character work - every character is so unique and beautiful; even the tiniest details like pain tolerance is a little different for each one?!?! it's incredible. (ps if you ever beat copyright and got this published i would be THE FIRST to buy a physical copy.) your version of harley is canon for me

i CANNOT go on enough how much i adore EVERY single one of your characters. this like never happens to me. even the 'annoying' characters are very much lovable in their own ways. and your use of perspectives to show how dif characters have interpreted things & how they've reacted differently is so clever

& your latest update has me on the edge of my seat. genuinely cannot stop thinking abt it omg.....
