My sister has been sick for a long time and requested a big chunky blanket because she is always cold. I am not used to using this chunky yarn but I do like how it is coming together. I am using Bernat blanket big yarn in gray with a 19 hook. I am doing it all in triple crochet. The edges look rough so I am definitely going to put a border on this. I will keep you all updated!

I am only months late on this but here is the blanket I finished back in December. I didn't like the triple crochet. I frogged it and just did a finger stitch. I wasn't happy with it but my sister loves it and really I guess thats all that matters. I learned a lot doing this and I now know what I will do differently next time. It does make a good weighted blanket at least.

Hey I'm not dead!

So the Hogwarts blanket has been put on the back burner. I had to frog it and start over. I just don't have the motivation right now for it. I have started in some other things and I will start sharing those soon!
