Very happy to be back knitting with my cat today (and only a little bit jet lagged)

I finished my kiwi socks (went to the yarnstore and the yarn practically begged me to come home and become socks and who am I to deny yarn its purpose) and picked up my 2 at a time socks again. Except with a "normal" pair of socks for comparison I am horribly aware of how much too big these socks are. like not going to be wearable for me too big. Which yeah, fair enough, my gauge is like way bigger because twice as many stitches on the needles, those take room and whathaveyou.

I do feel like i have the technique down now so i don't need to be continuing on with a project i won't actually like the result of. So. Frogging it is. so i can make normal socks i will actually like. But! I learned the thing I wanted to! More skills for my me!
