black people in gothic/alt scenes are just so cool because I think the concept of being black is already outside of the conservative worldview so being black and rejecting norms of a Christian fascist society is a goddamn power move. especially in the face of black conservatives. I've heard from black people who are goth or alt that they faced antiblackness in those spaces and they are honestly troopers. I'm alt too trying to express myself after being in a Christian cult for 18 years of my life, finally out. I find comfort in nu metal and ig "dark" music

cooking a zuccini in an oven right now and i was sitting here lazily reading a post when i heard a loud noise from the oven and as a genuine reaction and for no one at all bc i'm here alone i lept to my feet and exclaimed "What this?! What's befallen my zuccini??"
I hate tagging shows and books that start with a “The” in the title because I can never be sure if the tag most people use will have a “the.” You’re all a little bit too loosey fucking goosey on this. Everyone tags the “The” in The Owl House, I’ve never seen someone tag it as #owl house, that “The” is a load bearing part of the title, but I’ve never seen someone tag The Legend of Zelda as #the legend of zelda. The “The” in The Legend of Zelda is a vestigial organ we've evolved to survive without.
The alternative is tagging something as both The-ed and The-less, which is madness and makes my archivist teeth itch. I think we should just have a moratorium on starting titles with the word “The” until the UN can weigh in
ok so I was never into any of the superwholocks at their prime, but I recently started watching Doctor Who and I gotta say. Being a companion would be so fucking cool! I would get to see so many space bugs!!

I think the reason I still enjoy tumblr is that even though this all still pisses me off, I know that anything that makes me mad on here is 100% earnest. It's not ragebait or engagement farming, y'all are actually just that stupid sometimes
