Name: Dela Kinomoto Age: 85 (Appearance: late 30s)

Moral alignment: neutral good.

Positive traits: determined, witty, loyal, protective, dedicated, resourceful, studious

Negative traits: easy to provoke, vengeful, jealous, secretive, can be paranoid. Writer is 21+, semi-selective RP NO minors (sorry buds)

Brief Backstory: Dela has been a multiverse traveler for over five decades, not willingly but by force. A curse has afflicted her since her mid-20s which forces the sorceress to a different universe every five years. Dela gave up on breaking the curse after decades of failure and now tries to live on while constantly balancing between hope and despair.

Dela has strong past connections with counterparts of Doctor Strange, Wong and Loki. She was once married to Doctor Strange in a different universe. Her previous interactions do not dictate or restrict the future ones, but Dela tends to treat those particular characters with more fondness. She also makes a conscious effort not to confuse variants between universes.

Why would you paint your nails? How do you do so? Is it actual paint? I have some leftover from painting the White House green.

I am fond of pranks, and especially gossip.

I would rather not summon any ghosts. I am haunted enough.

A mysterious envelope swooshes under Dela’s door. There’s a wax seal of a snake holding it shut, inside a letter reads:

How is that dagger holding up with the repairs? I’ve found myself wondering if you’ve been well since we parted, as you know I discovered concerning things at the SHEILD facility and I can’t shake the feeling you may have been looking for more, fancy another visit?

An enchanted blue paper crane flew back to Loki shortly after, letting the god know when Dela would stop by.

The sun was almost gone and the sky showed the first stars of the night. Loki’s door was knocked, and Dela was on the other side holding a white paper box. Her red lips curled into a familiar smile, but her eyes looked more tired than before.

“Hello there. How’s my favorite god doing?”

Well, no wonder he didn’t know. Letting the God of Mischief aware that one of Earth’s main magical defenders was gone wasn’t exactly the first move in anyone’s mind. For Dela to finally reveal that information was either a sign of trust… or desperation.

“I don’t know if he really is missing.” Dela says lowly, mostly to keep her mind from spiraling. “Maybe he’s on a mission somewhere, maybe he’s been right under my nose this whole time and I was just too dense to notice.

“In any case, I just… can’t find him. Neither Strange nor Wong. And now the Time Stone may be here, what only makes me more worried and eager to know what the hell is happening.”

When her voice got exasperated, Dela pause and took a deep breath.

“I’m sorry. I’m usually more composed than this.”

“Well I suppose if we find the time stone here and we don’t find Strange I could always break my deal, act up a little bit and lure him out. I mean he loves reprimanding me, the man can’t stand me” Loki chuckles sliding his hands into his pockets.

Dela gave Loki a little smile, the worry in her eyes easing lightly. She wasn’t sure if that plan would work but it was nice for the god to suggest it anyway. A small chuckle escapes her lips.

“I suppose that sounds like Stephen — I mean, Strange” she quickly corrected. “In any case, thank you for hearing me out.”

Loki notes her demeanor and the familiarity of using his first name “You two must’ve been close huh? He hardly lets anyone call him that” the bell dings and the doors slide open to the warehouse basement, the same area they’d been before.

"It's nothing like that" Dela replies dismissively, avoiding Loki's gaze and walking out of the elevator. She mentally kicked herself for the slip and made a mental note to be more careful from now on.

The door with the Infinity Stones was still a fair walk away and Dela had to hold herself back to not say "screw it" and run down the hallway. However, that would be a stupid thing to do, so she forced herself to keep a natural pace.
