I've never tried testosterone for my PMDD so I'm curious to see results

*for the purpose of this question, we're talking exogenous testosterone for longer than a two-month period (since initial hormone fluctuation can flare symptoms, so I'm asking about how your experience was once hormones stabilized).

(I didn't put a "I'm bald" style button so the results don't get obscured by a majority vote of "doesn't apply to me" so if you're curious but you don't have PMDD, instead of a button to press you could just queue this for a week from today when the results are posted.)

"dysfonctionnelle" by axl cendres: very personnal fav in the sense that i heavily relate to the main character but still i would recommend it to anyone)

"juste une fois pour essayer" by élodie garnier: sorry i couldn't stand this one but mostly because i'm more of a "romance/queerness as part of the story" than a "romance/queerness being the whole story" person, also i think garnier wrote some more wlw romances if that's your kick

"bien sûr que les poissons ont froid" by fanny ruwet: still in the "didn't enjoy but someone else might" category, i LOVE goofy books but this one just didn't work for me (je me suis souvenu.e après avoir lu que j'étais déjà tombé.e sur un extrait de sketch de ruwet et purée son humour est vraiment pas le mien) + tbh the ending was underwhelming to me, some solid bisexual goofyness tho

yeah yeah rainbow capitalism is bad and whatever but like. when I was a child, being pro gay was not the popular or lucrative choice. I'm happy that times have changed.

I miss rainbow capitalism. I do. I miss when it felt like public opinion was still pro gay. I understand it was always an empty gesture, but it mattered in a sense of knowing how socially acceptable being queer is. If that makes sense.

most “protect the children” campaigns come with the implication that what’s best for children is 1950s white christian nuclear families and rigid adherence to the status quo, and having been a children I can definitively say that is very very incorrect

Today two of our students found an undetonated grenade from the second world war, picked it up and passed it back and forth.

Things that are making me crazy atm:

The fundraising campaign that has collected over 700k NOK to "stop pride in schools" whatever tf that means

The fact that this campaign has ads on the front page of the newspaper Dagen

The discussions in the main teacher group on facebook (admittedly, already, um, well), in which many people seem to think flying a rainbow flag is exclusionary towards Christian students and parents

Never forget the two ninth graders back in November who got the question "What can you do to make this school a better place to be" and responded "execute all black people and jews" (and then later also added gay people to the list)

My coworker who was in that classroom with me at that time and did not seem to think any of this was particularly noteworthy

Incidentally the same coworker who told a student she believed abortion was murder because "God has a plan for everyone"

Also my 10th grade student who was angry with me for unrelated reasons and handled that by yelling repatedly that he hates gay people

When I explicitly told my boss I believed the previously mentioned ninth graders were behaving badly towards me because they know I am a lesbian, and she just straight up didn't believe me

Also it is June. Pride month is great when there are a lot of us and there are events to go to. Up here it mostly means that there are a lot of articles that make me insane everywhere.
