Hey... Uh, the names Joel Waterson. Lived in Minnesota most my life, gotta best friend a year and a half younger then me named Wyatt. Long story short, we've been inseprable since we were little, well.. until he moved. Thankfully though my parents drove us down to Wisconsin for a vacation, and I get to see him again. Caroline darted her eyes to the ground, how did he know? “Well well. You have found me out. Toothiana’s my mom.” She said. She was curious about this kid. Who was he? She peered into his eyes hoping to find a memory that would in some way assist her.

"Tooth Fairy, huh?" The boy crossed his arms over his chest.  "That's... interesting." Joel murmured, thinking to himself for a moment.  "Seems like a lot of you guys are popping up." Half-immortal children, first Wyatt-- practically his brother-- now others too? One he went to school with? Dammit Joel was getting rusty.

Carolines eyes widened and she looked around nervously. She only had told guardians and other people, not normal people. “C-c-can you keep a secret?” She asked peering into Joel’s eyes.

"I've been keeping secrets all my life fairy girl, trust me I can keep another." The longer he was around a person the more he knew, being half-dragon had it's perks.. too bad Joel didn't even know that was what he in fact was.

Caroline laughed. “Well, its nice to properly meet you Joel.” She said with a smile.

"Yea, I suppose it is." Joel never trusted, he didn't, knew too much to trust anyone.  "So what's so special about you?" He already knew it within minutes, something was off here, just like it was with Wyatt.

Caroline nodded. "Yep I do. Oh my names Caroline. I should I have introduced myself earlier. Sorry." She said with a small frown. She was bad with people..

"Caroline?" Maybe he knew her, the name was familiar enough.  "It's a pleasure to meet you-- again?"

Caroline raised her eyebrow. “Oh you go to my school. Your in my science and math class.” She replied. He was a smart kid, she lookee up to how involved he was in his studies. While she would rather play music.

"... You go to South then?" His once tense shoulders, relaxed lightly, and he stared to the blond.  "What was your name again?" He hardly paid attention to anything other than school work anymore, now that Wyatt moved away there wasn't anything else to do.

Caroline smiled at the boy and waved. “Hey Joel. How are you?” She asked pulling her blond hair up into a ponytail.

"Excuse me?" While yes the boy knew far too much for his own good, this girl.. was not someone he knew, maybe he went to school with her? It wasn't like he paid attention to anything other than his studies there.

Vacation? Well it was winter break, that was expected, plus his parents didn't give a crap what their son did really, just so long as he got straight B's, and didn't get in trouble they let their son do whatever.  Looking up at movement out of the corner of his eye, brown eyes locked with icy blue that looked similar to his best friends.  ".... Hey." Joel spoke softly.

".... Great." A girl with pink hair, just what he needed.  "Hey." The raven haired boy greeted, losing the sarcasm he had spoken with earlier.

He also acted like a mother fucking teenager and did whatever he wanted.

But still cared about Wyatt who was just like:

Also in the story his mom was like 24 when she had him

Joel gave a chuckle, he knew Wyatt was addicted to that one game.. what was it, oh right soulcaliber or something like that.  "Sounds like him, skipping out on homework."

Closing the text book, Joel brought his full attention to her.  "Have you seen Wyatt? I was supposed to help him with his math." The other teen convinced the raven to agree to it.

Joel was doing his usual thing, nose deep in homework he'd been given.  After tapping the end of his pencil against the page of his text book for a few moments, trying to solve an answer in his head did he hear footsteps coming his way and look up.  "Oh, hey Ms. Shepherd." The raven haired boy greeted.

"... What?" The dark haired boy didn't even bother from looking up from the text book he was reading, as he attempted to study for a test he had at school.

“Close enough.” Sasha smiled ever so slightly at the lazy brunette lounging around the floor. “I brought cookies…again. Maybe I should start bringing over real meals…” She added as an afterthought, she never saw Wyatt’s mother…and she never smelled real food in the house.

"Don't worry, Wyatt actually eats.. and no, not ice cubes.. he eats real food.. like me." Of course.. Joel had a bit of an appetite for meat, he loved it, but he also loved vegetables.. which Wyatt hated.  "But he'll appreciate the cookies."
