I’m so happy with my family, my career and my friends, and I’d like for them to be here forever, so I guess loss is what scares me the most.
masonpicrce:
honestly, it was getting easier sneaking out of homes when his rental masters were asleep. after entertaining a man or a woman for half the day, the evenings were usually mason’s to do with however he wished, and he always opted for some free time. he spent his nights in solitude, for the most part, exploring or sneaking into taverns for an old-fashioned drink. the city was like a glittering tourist trap in the mornings but a place shrouded in mystery come the night, which mason found far more interesting. he had been on his way back when he apparently alerted another werewolf in the immediate area with a clumsy step in the brush.
he could have denied that he was following this man and went on his way, but where was the fun in that? this man was obviously deluded into thinking he was tracking him. “oh, you caught me,” mason shrugged a little dramatically. “can’t help myself when it comes to suspicious strangers lurking in the dark.”
Finally, when the wolf turned around --- a certain aroma filled his nostrils. He was across another. Even a half breed. Still partially to what he was. Noting of the dramatics. Not one to be missed out on. Even if he wasn’t for it to be returned. “I should rephrase that as intentional or not. The latter seeming more likely. But guilt still seems to linger. For whatever it is, that you are well that’s on you.”, He murmured back to the other. “Though. Lurking is what you’re playing at, don’t let me distract you from it.”
how would you punish a pet?
“I guess that all depends on what they did and the severity of it.”
Running without a care, without rules. Sometimes Knox would shift and he wouldn’t know how much time had passed until darkness fell. But he decided to not waste the whole day away. Even if his wolf form was his true nature. That the man side of him would always be second. Deep down at least in Knox’s heart and soul. A wolf before man. Always. He had transformed and was in the middle of changing inside the castle walls. If you asked him what lead him here, his answer wouldn’t be all that clear. This seemed to not be a fluke, so the man had stowed some empty clothes near by. He was just finishing up when, he heard a faint off in the distance sound. Knowing a twig had cracked --- signalling that the man wasn’t alone. Still with his back turned, he then moved his head briefly around looking at the company. “You know you really ought to not try to sneak up on someone. But it’s a good thing I don’t scare.”

Still no books. The boy thought as he kept constantly yearning for the feel of a book bound in leather, caressing the pages with his fingers, unraveling all the mysteries it held in its passages. But he couldn’t, he couldn’t admit to anybody that he was nothing more than a simple human, meant to keep the facade of an illiterate beggar. Out in the courtyard, he rested besides the wall and hummed. “You know, I don’t really mind this life. Sure is somewhat an improvement from where I was a few years back. Besides, being away from the idiot that was…is, don’t recall if he’s still alive, was sort of a blessing.”
Knox wasn’t so sure why he found himself in the court yard given that he had his own land back home. It was quiet but sometimes the man found himself wanting change. To not be limited in any aspect. So here he was. Orbs viewed another. Not so sure if he was being addressed with the comment that left the others lips or not. “Then there’s some positive in what people might say is negative. This life you speak of, it might not be so ideal for others.” Though Knox knew he really had no say in the matter .Given that his role, as a Master was far more grand and better off then a pet. But he could state an opinion freely.
Do you enjoy swimming?
“Depends on whose asking but yeah --- even if you’re a jokester and want to follow with a wet dog joke. Though I must admit I do prefer skinny dipping then using trunks.”
I think you might be the most attractive wolf here.
“I wouldn’t go that far --- but who am I going to argue with this sort of compliment.”
booners:
“I lost something.” He said before turning back to what he’d been rummaging through. “Something that was sort of important to me.” He said lying easily as he tried to find the little object he had seen someone carrying around. It was shiny and he had to have it. “What are you doin’ around here, huh? Snooping around?” He asked glancing over his shoulder before turning back to what he was doing.
“Why bother searching for something in the past tense?” Knox questioned -- you’ve already been somewhat caught so really no reason to hide now.”, He stated like it was normal. The man found himself laughing at the accusation. “I’m not sure you’re safe to start barking accusations but I wasn’t in case that needed to be addressed. Getting my nose into somebody’s business besides my own? It can, well rather be quite tiring if I must admit.”
aggiegordan:
“Some of the masters would argue we don’t have a self to begin with.” Aggie raised his eyebrow at the Elite.Â
“Oh. My family used to travel around the desert commune. Most of the food and… things you have here in the city, I’ve never seen before. Master Evander likes seeing how I react to things I’ve never seen before. Like cheese.”
Aggie furrowed his brow. “What am I looking for? Like in a master? I guess I’d be lucky if I had one who didn’t aim to embarrass me. Or was unreasonable in punishment.”
“Then I don’t know how they imagine somebody to be loyal --- when they’re constantly belittling that other person. Not the brightest thing to do if you ask me. “, Knox mused to the pet. But it was still something he believed in. The man knew the importance of the roles but there was still some guidelines he himself put first. “Yes. As in for a master. Unless you don’t want one.” He added. But even if the other didn’t in such a case. That didn’t mean his wishes would in turn come true. “But that’s fair. Surprising right coming from a master himself?” The man questioned -- suggesting that most were cruel in nature. It was like some sort of cliche. But for Knox, he wasn’t a fan of those to be honest.
Abuse
@knoxmuller
The pet, a young one, winsome and pretty, danced backward and stepped right on Taiga’s toes.
Taiga grabbed the boy by the shoulder and twisted him into a slap.
“Clumsy idiot,” he told him, as he would have told any servant in his estate.
The youngster stumbled back, clutching his face, eyes wide and shocked.
“Get out of here, you little twit,” Taiga barked. The slave scurried off, trained to obey that tone of voice.
Taiga lounged. Perhaps being here wasn’t all bad, after all.
Something you didn’t see every day was a pet getting violent or aggressive with another of it’s kind.  One would think they would stick with their own. To be loyal and all of that. But not today as he watched on with the current scene unfolding between his lies. One might even suspect that this pet was an elite in disguise given the nature. “Are you always this --- feisty?” The word seemingly rather fitting for the present.Â
aggiegordan:
“I’m.. not very interesting.” Aggie frowned, eyes scrunching over his forehead. “Master Evander has rented me. He likes teaching me things like cheese. And Master Solus says I’m pretty.”
Aggie looked up at his final comment, and lifted the corner of his mouth in agreement. “Yeah, some elites are weird.”
“Not being confident in one’s self --- that should be a negative trait that no one should be faced with.” Knox was well aware that maybe it was in some pet’s natures. That the lower their self-esteem, the better ? Obviously that wasn’t in Knox’s favoritism. Quite the opposite. “Cheese teachings. Yeah I must admit that is pretty odd. “, He chuckled. “So. What are you looking for. Even has crazy that may sound from someone like me I guess. And it leaving my lips?”
aggiegordan:
“Some of the masters say name and mean number,” Aggie said with a slight narrow to his eyes. He didn’t want to be scolded over a damn logical decision. “Right. Knox. Nice to meet you.”Â
“Not me.” He admitted, but cocked a brow in the other’s direction. “So -- do you have a master or interests? Because we all know how some elites can be.” But then nodding at the thanks.
aggiegordan:
Aggie frowned, looking up from his half made toy. If he didn’t want to be impressed, why would he ask for a name? “Uhm. Aggie. Number 6539.”
He wasn’t sure if by name he really meant number, like some of the elites did. It was safer to give both. “Do I get your name?”
“I didn’t ask for your number --- all those are actually irrelevant. I guess given by a higher purpose. Which I don’t particularly care for. But Aggie. It’s a pleasure.” Knox found himself stating. Giving a friendly smile over to the pet. “Knox.”
I would love to be your puppy. To crawl around and wag my tail, show the world how happy I am to be owned by you and be your good doggy.
“You say this but yet you’re still anonymous. Don’t be afraid --- I actually enjoy someone’s whose up front and blunt. It’s a turn on contrary to popular to belief.”
