I make a webcomic called Bad Seeds - a psychological horror comic with gore themes, viewer discretion advised. I've recently returned from a long hiatus and schedule updates for Thursdays.
#korvo draws is my art tag and most of my #ocs have their own tags. Feel free to send messages about whatever!
Where else am I?
Most Saturdays around 8:30pm est, I do a casual stream with my vtuber on Youtube. I stream a variety of different games and don't always use my vtuber, at the point where I wanna redraw/rig a new one.
Other blogs – lintprince for art and inspo, kowvo for active shitposting and reblogging
Bored at work lazy doodle of the boys from @badseedscomic since it’s been on my mind recently. It’s really good and you should go read it if you like horror and toxic weird relationships <3
mmmm long shot buuuut if any of my followers happen to be going to Anime North, I will be there all weekend =w= not tabling but in between wandering around the con, ill be staffing panels and barking orders
I'll bring my sketchbook along so come find me and we can draw together uwu
Also, Poet gets a long monologue in the new Bad Seeds page I posted a few minutes ago lol
doodle dump of some Stardew Valley Expanded shenanigans from the streams @mostly-okay-budgie-boy and I have been doing =w= we're on a haunted farm called Bloodfeather Farm
if you wanna watch us yap, hear me thirst over Victor, and see Budge get harassed by his beautiful macaw Morgan, you should follow Budge on Twitch to catch the next farming stream >3>
permit me to bitch and moan on my own blog but there is a bad seed page i am specifically going to blame for my months long art block delaying updates and here's a sneak peak of the culprit
i did a consultation for a brain scan this morning and I'm opting into getting a copy of the data/images for myself but while discussing anonymisation of the data, the doc was like 'btw we are in the age of AI and we'll do everything to make it anonymised for our own repository but just know that if you share these yourself someone could take the outline of your face and potentially use AI to re-identify you'
anyways follow me for some tastefully cropped brain scan photos ill be showing just enough of my wrinkles to tease
They offer him their room card with a puzzled smile, which Jude takes and squints at as she speaks. Dakota Burnett.
“Last week?” Jude asks, flipping the card around in his hand. It looked like any other guest card but… Just woke up here? That can’t be right. “We didn’t dock anywhere last week.”
“Does this just… happen? The teleporting?” Jude didn’t get the sense that she was lying about anything, even though what they were saying was unusual. Overall, Dakota just seemed… normal. And confused. But calm. They seemed to just accept whatever happened and adjust as needed. It was an attitude Jude could respect, especially while locked in a confined space with them for an indeterminate amount of time. He pondered her statement, glancing down at the small one-inch gap at the bottom of the door.
“I mean, teleporting isn’t really a thing as far as I know,” Jude responds, leaning down towards the gap. He’d have to maneuver himself around to be able to see out of it, and at Dakota’s request, he wiggles his long limbs around to do so. “There’s been a lot of really weird things happening on this ship though that I can’t explain. You’ve only been here a week, but it’s been four months of bullshit for me, to be honest.” Jude pauses with a huff, body twisted uncomfortably.
“And I can deal with bullshit, that’s just what you sign up for working night security. The bullshit on this ship is just a whole breed of its own. Oh, the name’s Jude by the way.” It wasn’t the most flattering of introductions, twisted in a heap trying to peer out of the gap stuck in a locked closet, but maybe he’d come out of this situation with a new confidante on this ship.
Cheek pressed to the cool floor, Jude couldn’t see much. A long, empty hallway. He tried to conjure the ship layout in his mind to figure out where they could possibly be.
“I can’t really see much, honestly,” Jude says, neck aching as he glanced through the gap. There was a long hallway. Other doors. No people in sight. “I can’t even tell what part of the ship this is-“
The heavy THUD of a footstep makes Jude cut himself off. He feels the vibrations where his cheek connects with the floor. More follow, slow and dragging. THUD. THUD. THUD.
Jude’s muscles were protesting his current position but he strained to see, trying to identify where the approaching sound was coming from. Something was wrong. The floor was shaking with each step. Even Artem’s footfalls are ballerina-like compared to this. There was something inhuman about it.
The slow, heavy steps continue as Jude’s neck can’t take the position anymore and he sits back up. He looks to Dakota, concern knitting his brows together.
“I couldn’t see anything but…” The light overhead shook with another THUD. “I think something’s out there.”
my brain was real goopy for a while and there is definitely still some melted plastic i gotta scrape out of the wrinkles but im easing back into my creative endeavours
ive got 10 more pages till the end of Chapter 3 of Bad Seeds and they are all in different degrees of progress. I'm going to be changing up my workflow for Chapter 4 now that I have CSP to hopefully streamline things a little better - some cursed insight: ive been doing all my text and final edits for Bad Seeds in a cracked portable copy of photoshop CS6 that has always done lettering really offset to where I actually click because I use SAI 1.0 for the actual drawing of the pages themselves which doesn't have a text feature LMAO
I am pretty comfortable in SAI so I probably won't switch the actual drawing of the pages to CSP entirely, but I do want to experiment with the comic features more. I didn't splurge on CSP EX but ngl it's tempting, that is a juicy program for creating comics.
I have a few different projects im chipping away at between Real Life Circumstances that I'll eventually post about =w= Thank you to anyone that's kept an eye on Bad Seeds. It's not exactly uncommon for webcomic artists to blip in and out of existence, but it is a pleasure to connect with people and know that my self-indulgent comic exists in other brains.
Also still experimenting with PNGtubing, lookit this lil guy i made he can yap his mouth hole real funny
