I work in the kid’s section of a library and an itty bitty little kid kept toddling up to me this evening while i shelved books muttering over and over “piderman book piderman book piderman book” and every time i found a new Spiderman book for him he would grab it, waddle over to his mom still repeating “piderman book” like a pokemon, fly through it, and come back for a new one

Eventually i ran out of Spiderman books for him but at the end I was like “here’s a BIG piderman book” and it was the biggest id scrounged up thus far, like half his size, and his repeating words then became “BIG piderman book”

Did you know?

The first time i fought Monoco, he *consistently* targeted Verso and only Verso for his transformation attacks through the entire battle. I was certain this must be an FF7 Rude vs girls reference moment where Rude would never target Tifa/the girls unless he had no choice 😂

During the Old Lumiere fight, my Verso was Gommaged INSTANTLY turn-1 I thought it has to be story based cuz what the actual fuck hahahwkfkqjaka 🫠

permit me to bitch and moan on my own blog but there is a bad seed page i am specifically going to blame for my months long art block delaying updates and here's a sneak peak of the culprit

Opened AO3 for the first time in a while and

my brain was real goopy for a while and there is definitely still some melted plastic i gotta scrape out of the wrinkles but im easing back into my creative endeavours

ive got 10 more pages till the end of Chapter 3 of Bad Seeds and they are all in different degrees of progress. I'm going to be changing up my workflow for Chapter 4 now that I have CSP to hopefully streamline things a little better - some cursed insight: ive been doing all my text and final edits for Bad Seeds in a cracked portable copy of photoshop CS6 that has always done lettering really offset to where I actually click because I use SAI 1.0 for the actual drawing of the pages themselves which doesn't have a text feature LMAO

I am pretty comfortable in SAI so I probably won't switch the actual drawing of the pages to CSP entirely, but I do want to experiment with the comic features more. I didn't splurge on CSP EX but ngl it's tempting, that is a juicy program for creating comics.

I have a few different projects im chipping away at between Real Life Circumstances that I'll eventually post about =w= Thank you to anyone that's kept an eye on Bad Seeds. It's not exactly uncommon for webcomic artists to blip in and out of existence, but it is a pleasure to connect with people and know that my self-indulgent comic exists in other brains.

Also still experimenting with PNGtubing, lookit this lil guy i made he can yap his mouth hole real funny
