i was thinking about the scene when veronica asks lance if he can help her get a date with his “long haired friend” in refrence to keith and he begins stuttering all nervous and gets defensive. a lot of people interpret this scene as lance covering it up because he has feelings for keith and it’s #klance but what if instead it was lance covering up the fact keith is queer. it’s very contextually obvious keith is queer him being half galra and being treated differently being a metaphor for being queer he is heavily queer coded (even if it may of been unintentional) but either way lance wouldn’t be the type of person to put his friends he wants people to trust him and he cares to much about his friends to the point that homotron n1 keith kogane would even be protected from being outed so instead of telling his sister “sorry man he is gay” he got nervous and flustered trying to think of a way to protect his friend. it kind of adds a little more depth to the scene besides “haha klance” because i truly love klance but at this point in the story lance was a little to in love with allura.

Introverted: as described on the official mbti site introverts are described as people who value their personal time, they can be seen as more of an alone person. keith is canonically described as a “lone wolf” and he is far more reserved than the other paladins. This also goes hand in hand with his overall body language. he is shown especially in the first season of the show with having more closed off body language arms crossed or hands on his hips standing away from others. The first intro to him is him wearing a mask which can symbolize the fact he is more secretive and keeps to himself a physical barrier. Lots of introverts are more secretive about their lives only opening up to those they trust once they realize they can trust them.
intuitive: This trait often describes people who think about the future and in turn connections to the whole world a far more philosophical mbti. Keith is oftentimes shown reflecting on the world around him and the future a big part of his charcater is wanting to understand the past so that was he can understand his future. lance also describes him as “like our future” which is implying that keith is going to stick around in the future and therefore think about it. at one point keith discusses how everyone is connected and how everyone in the universe is connected to one another showcasing his ability to philosophize.
feeling: This is described as someone who follows their hearts and emotions rather then thinking through things. this trait is associated with impulsive people. keith is often shown jumping into things without fully contemplating the outcome. it’s shown when he grabs lubos in that one scene and literally threatens his life not thinking about the consequences of his actions, or when he tries to fly into the barrier wall because he believes the only way to destroy the barrier is to sacrifice himself and use a physical force. he is “hot headed” and “impulsive” lining up perfect with this trait.
judging: This trait makes more sense regarding later keith. when keith becomes paladin of the black lion he truly shows wanting to follow steps to be a good leader making plans and trying to be less impulsive. this trait is described as people who make plans and try to stick to them and if they aren’t stuck to they can feel frustrated. keith when he first starts leading voltron shows frustration when no one is listening to his plans and confesses this to lance who helps him get back on track and set new goals. this is when they are all separated on that one planet and they are trying to find each other.
