I saw you were asking whats post+ and why it's bad, so here :D

post+ is basically Tumblr allowing user to put paywalls on content, meaning that you can't access specific content unless you paid for it, and kinda also monetizing the content.

Why it's bad is a bunch of different things:

Tumblr mostly exists off of fan content (fics, fanart, etc), monetizing that could get people in legal trouble.

The website already needs fixing in a lot of different ways, you can't tell me you'd trust Tumblr with bank info.

There already has been an issue with blocking people who are supporters (subed to you, if you might), and I KNOW there are people that will pay money to spread hate.

Aren't we all, like, already broke?
