Walk Through the Forest // 2023
On a journey. - - -Â I think I learned a lot from doing this piece, but thereâs always more to learn. :)
If Dungeon Meshi was a game. :) I had a lot of fun doing the big portraits and the hotpot. The small Laius portrait was actually the most tricky for me to do...Â
âThe Sunâ Just felt like doing a portrait. :)Â
Aglow --- pixelled this over the past week. :)Â
Hey hi yaâll, itâs time for another update! -tumbleweeds- ... cough. Uh anyway! Hereâs a character Iâve been working on! :) Sheâs based on the Maneki-neko and is for a fighting game universe Iâm spinning around in my head that I think would be cool to make someday. Oof. Work has been busy, and Iâve recently rediscovered a passion for drawing so that kinda explains the silence. Youâll probably be seeing some more non-pixel art as I try to fill the gaps in my art knowledge, but I do have a few pixel pieces in the works as well that I want to get around to doing. In game-making related news, Iâm still pushing forward on some of my projects. Currently, my plan is to double-down on a mobile dungeon crawler game Iâm doing. Maybe Iâll post some more stuff about that if it goes anywhere. So thatâs whatâs been up with me lately. Hope you all have been well! Iâll...see you all in a few months... again...
Oof, been a while since Iâve posted here. Just been busy with work and different projects and things. Taking it easy. If you arenât following me on twitter already, you can find more recent updates over there. :) This is just a gif of a game Iâm slowly working on in my free time. Thought it would be a great opportunity to learn Spine, which is handling all the character animations you see here. I find it hard to stick to one thing a lot of the time. But Iâm going to do my best! Hope youâre all doinâ well!
What game is the fire lion looking guy on the bottom of your good indies post from? (Those were all really cool by the way)
Zetterburn from Rivals of Aether! Really great Smash Bros.-like game. :)
Thanks!
A piece I did for my mom. Happy Motherâs Day. :)
Did this sketch a while ago. Still like it. c: Hope yaâll are doing well~
Just doing some more 3D art practice, expanding off my work on the last one. I did more stuff in almost all areas:
- Texture/Material: UV unwrapped and hand-painted textures in Clip Studio Pro. - Model: Some more minor details modeled (horns, jacket, arm bracers). - Rigging: Not really shown, but the eyes are rigged to look around and the legs are also rigged. Oh! And the fingers are as well. I learned a bit more about weight-painting too. Iâm not sure what my next project in 3D will be. Thinking either learning ZBrush or more high-poly sculpting. Weâll see! :)
Doing some low-poly modeling and extremely basic rigging. I still have a long way to go. :) I kind of just did whatever with the character design and made things as I went. Say hello to Clara! I think she turned out okay, but definitely would be better to have drawn her out earlier. Maybe in a year or so Iâll make a better model! Bonus shots:
Outlined using Freestyle. Thereâs an animated version too but it had some outlines popping in and out so decided not to post.
An older shot, not all geometry made (eyes, glove, jacket collar).Â
Hope youâre all doing well!
Into the Spiderverse was amazing. <3Â - - -Â I am much too late with this, but I finally sat down and finished it off today after suffering some art-block and feeling tired after work. Hope you all are doing well. :)
Doing some low-poly stuff for fun. :]
âWhat a rip-off.â A piece I did for the yearly secret santa over at Pixelation. It was my first time and had fun doing it. :]
Punk.
Ninja Witch - October 3rd
Finished a bit early tonight. A little bit more... anime... lol. I like the pose more than yesterday but everything else is... eh. I think I might try to really nail expression and anatomy tomorrow cuz it's pretty lackluster here. Might get a little more unpolished or experimental but I'll learn something that way. :)
