Hey! So!

I swear I'm not dead again! I'm just adjusting to a new job. I plan to get some drafts done tonight, so expect them to be queued for tomorrow! This goes for @4sword-vio too? but most of you follow me there as well, so I see no reason to blow up your dash. I'm alive, promise!! Strange hours.

“Awww...” Young Link’s pointed ears droop a little, and his eyes drop to the ground. That’s fair. He supposed he wasn’t on the best terms with Akira. Come to think of it, has he ever said that name out loud? ... Ah well. That wasn’t important now!! He just wanted to see the kitties... “Whaddaya use it for, anyways? Got other games on there?”

“I don’t... I ‘unno!! I jus’...”  Time felt like the wind was rather taken out of his sails. This... This was the same Majora, right?? How was he here?? That mask... Link thought that was handled! He’d left it in the care of... Hm. Okay. The Happy Mask Salesman had always been odd, but... 

“I don’ wan’ all these people ‘ere.” There was something going on, and Link had every intention of finding out what. He was missing some pieces, but... All those people in Termina. The ones that didn’t make it. He’d have an explanation on why this one did. And once he knew? Then, and only then, would he decide what to do about it. “I’ll go anywhere s’jus’ us.”

“Eh? Oh! S’jus’…”

Time raises the ocarina, thinking for a moment. 

“A frien’ gave it ta me. A long time ago…” He eyes the mushrooms, and deeming them to be non-hostile, turns his attention back to the tan instrument in his hands. “S’an ocarina! Ya never seen one..?” 

That seemed strange to the young Link, but he supposed he knew very little about the place he’d landed himself in. Perhaps they had other ideas of music? Mikau certainly had a unique one… He didn’t think he was anywhere near THERE though. At least… He hoped not. Well… Might as well give a demonstration. He raises the ocarina to his lips, and since it was on his mind, played a verdant tune that reminds him of home. 

As expected, the magic had no effect. But… It was nice on the ear. He should play more often…

Wild shook his head at the question, though…well it was possible he’d seen one before, but he certainly didn’t remember coming across one. The champion begun to stick the ends of the skewers in the dirt, allowing the mushrooms to slowly cook at the edge of the flames. He looked back up as the cheery tune sailed out, unable to help the smile that spread at the sound of it. The kid had talent. 

[You play well…I’m friends with another musician, maybe you two would get along?]

Wild’s hands only stopped moving for a moment, soon reaching for some apples and a pocket knife, deftly cutting them up. Seems he’d already planned out some sort of dessert for the two of them as well.

“... Eh? ‘Nother musician, huh?” He eyes the mushrooms as they cook, lowering his ocarina after he finishes his musical phrase. He eyes the skillful use of the knife, blue eyes following the movements.

“Thanks. I’ve had... lotsa practice. M’Link. by the way!” He’d forgotten to introduce himself!! A bad habit of his, if he was honest. But the smell coming from the roasting mushrooms had his stomach sitting up and begging. He didn’t really consider his manners, for the moment.

Okay I'm literally about to pass out but I have huge, sudden motivation to bother my smashverse mutuals tomorrow. I've been neglecting Time for the past few days and I won't stand for it anymore!! Hmm... For now though, it's 5am. Good night!!

S’really ‘noyyin… But… Then there’s some people who think m’some awesome Hero of Time. An’… I guess I kinda am. M’sposed ta be, anyway! But… I know m’kinda a letdown, f’ya were expectin’ some fearless swordsman or som’thin’… I dunno what I think ‘bout tha’.”
