death by chocolate : an indulgence/guilty pleasure headcanon.
definitely anime. while now it is not so guilty anymore, i believe his father’s side of the family wouldn’t quite appreciate it, and neither would his siblings. not only was it a way for him to connect with his mother’s japanese culture, but also a sort of escapism from his lonely reality and something to keep him company - which is why he still holds it so dear.
neapolitan : an intimacy/vulnerability (or lack thereof) headcanon.
due to his positive demeanor and resilience, it’s rather hard to hurt him. however, the loss of people he cares about affects him greatly - either permanent or temporary; due to things like death, fights or just being abandoned. it mostly comes from the fact that aside from a few people, he’s a very lonely person, used to shallow relationships and being used - even if he’s also so loving and extroverted.
after the disappearance of haruki, this has strengthened - he’d be incredibly hurt if it were to happen again. it’s also part of why he’s so dead set on keeping idolish7 together and patch things up when members fight, why he took it the hardest when yamato and mitsuki left.
now, while nagi identifies as a pacifist and open for dialogue, he’s not a pushover. however, this can be easily exploited. in the unlikely event that someone were to seriously threaten to leave him or take away someone he loves … i believe he’d very easily comply with demands.
rainbow cream : a nature headcanon.
even if he’s strongest while the weather is cold, his favorite season is spring - a season for love where the flowers bloom, and, more importantly, the cherry blossoms, which are not only pretty and characteristic of japan, but also remind him of haruki. he’d definitely want to attend hanami with the rest of i7.
on the other hand, since northmare is too cold for them to grow and bloom properly, he probably has some framed paintings of them in his room.
