my hc for jundori post canon is that junpei feels really guilty spending time with her because she doesn't remember him and he feels like he fell in love with a different version of her than the one that exists now. but chidori is obsessed with him and angry he's avoiding her because whenever he's around something just feels right. something in her soul clicks into place and she feels like she needs him to breathe, to live. because the thing is, junpei still has her persona. their persona. and when he's in her presence, she can feel that part of her soul again, can almost remember all the things she's forgotten, and she's desperate for that wholeness that's absent when he's gone.

it's pretty toxic for a while because neither of them are communicating and neither of them even know why chidori needs him so desperately but eventually they figure it all out and the more time junpei spends with chidori the more she remembers. eventually everything comes rushing back at once and it's a very traumatic and terrible experience but junpei helps her through it and at the end they realize their persona she gave to junpei is one they now both share.
