He sat beside the ledge overlooking the rest of the school campus. The white haired male looked almost a bit lost, as his eyes drifted across the horizon. Suddenly, gentle footsteps were heard behind him as he assumed who it was as soon as that perverse voice of hers echoed into his ears. Junko Enoshima. He was hurt by the corruption that his class' ultimate hope suffered at the hands of despair. How revolting...

But he only managed to cough up a chuckle at the sound of Junko's rambling. He shifted his body as his hand reached for the grass, shifting his body upwards as he got up. His eyes locked onto Junko's, focused into her eyes. Komaeda moved closer to her, "You know princess? (mocking her need to be the queen of despair was one thing he loved doing.) You'd be surprised, I'm actually happy."

She thinks he's pathetic? As if deep down inside, he didn't already know that.

The upperclassman tilted his head to the side, hands extended as his fingers gently wrapped themselves around Junko's arms, with a smile still on his face, he leaned in to whisper into the fashionista's ear. "Now he can really let his hope shine through that darkness." He had great hope for that after all.
