neil gaiman - mind the gap

neil gaiman visited stockholm this week, for a signing and a talk. All my books are still in gothenburg so I bought Neverwhere for him to doodle in, which I don't previously own, and haven't read in something like 11 years? What a great book that one is.

Worked on this spot for MTG and their promotion for the sochi olympic broadcast. Animated all the cross-country skiers and biathlon skiers. (from 00:06-00:14)

figure drawing - gamla stan

Started doing figure drawing again after about a one year hiatus. And now as I’ve been working full time as an animator for a little more than a year. I take with me so much more from the sessions than I did before. At the moment I am trying to grasp how muscles flex and bend and the softness of us, how limbs are pressing against each other or objets, and how and if I as an animator can incorporate that into my animations, and not go via simulations or just not do anything about it.
