i hate when people explain (or literally make up) testosterone effects on your body by saying "T is a steroid so [thing they consider to be manly]". do you know which hormone also happens to be a steroid. estrogen you-

part of why I care about people getting this seemingly unimportant biology fact wrong is that I wish more people knew 1-that hormones are way more relevant for sexual development than "cHrOmoSoMes" (which is the reason you can have XY ppl born with vaginas and XX people born with penises) and 2- testosterone and the main estrogen (estradiol) differ on four atoms. 4. cuatro átomos.
