Koniser™ is a paperless magazine for discerning chaps and anyone with a penchant for style and panache. We're talking if McQueen and Connery were in their prime, today, women they'd be courting, what they'd be wearing, cars they'd be driving and what have you. One should never be without
Providing you've somewhere to moor it, bit of a necessity for any budding money-touting playboy, really. Pretty much as good as luxury yachts come, Luca Brenta's 37m yacht is rather special. Well, for anyone with disposable income that'd rival a western African nation. Serious money aside, seriously cool.
One woman we'd love to court
'Immaculately bottomed', personified: Candice Swanepoel's rather peachy - outrageous, even - behind. About as good as they get, really. The kind of thing that brings tears to one's eyes. Kind of like an onion.
One should never be without
A respectable repertoire of gentlemenly beverages. And, no, we're not talking spritzers. Picked up this last week: The Gentlemen's Guide To Cocktails. Author Alfred Tong's veritably retro collection is bang on, in our opinion. Worth the stretch. And very Mad Men, we know. Essential if one's to know his Old Fashioned from a Tom Collins.
Get-ups we like
Loving this pocket square. How cool is it?! It's the black-trimmed edge that makes it. Dig the the jacket's bluish hues and texture, too. Veritably Connery. Back in the day, obviously.
Celebrity connoisseurs of style
Ewan McGregor. Huge fans of the once-trainspotting Scot. Not necessarily the most in-your-face chap in terms of gentish style, but always has loads of yesteryear presence. This shot a case in point. Looking forward to seeing him alongside the ravishing Naomi Watts in forthcoming release The Impossible.
One woman we'd love to court
The obvious aside - think 'support' - we're rather smitten with this particularly lavish, rather tall brunette. Call us crazy, but most certainly a keeper. Beautifully shot, by the way.
A car for the motoring aficionado
The latest Porsche incarnation to bear the iconic Martini Racing livery, the German marque's decidedly evil 918 Spyder. A direct descendent of the unmistakable, Seventies Le Mans-destroying 917, the model is powered by a hybrid V8, putting out a devastating 770 hp, all the while giving a miserly (good, we mean) 78mpg. Our thoughts? It's [insert expletive here] hot.
Day-to-day essentials
Very McQueen. A given, we know. The bike in question is a classically styled BMW R75, circa 1971. The catch, however, is it's a retro mod, handbuilt by Spanish two-wheeled-afficionados Cafe Racer Dreams. As you'd expect, it's heavier than Beth Ditto (twice over, actually), but the 749cc boxer engine has more than enough power to free sail over any WWII-styled wall. And, yes, working on one's muscle tone (triceps, in particular) would be a bit of a must, really.
