Red Steel 2 Review (SPOILERS!)

Red Steel 2. ahhhh, great game. it was perfect, except, wait, the final boss.
In this game, you play as a mercenary in some sort of futuristic wild west. You find your old samurai sensei and find out that you have a magic sword; that's it. People want the sword and you don't give it to them. Simple story, my kinda game.
I bought this for the Wii motion-plus controller. The game was more of a bonus. In the game you have a sword that you use by swinging the remote. All other times your gun is out. Great concept and perfectly executed. Different guns, different powers, different ways to kill.
Sounds fun, why does it suck? In the game you fight the final boss twice, which is fine, you beat the battle and a cutscene plays and he beats the crap outta you. Then you break HIS magic sword. what the @#!*% . He already has one, why does he want mine? And how the @#!*% did i break a magic sword? Then he runs away. cool. that was halfway through the game and it took me 17 (i counted) tries. "Cool" i thought, "if this isn't even the final battle, I cant wait to see how tough and fun it is!" how wrong I was. you fight him at the end with all these insane powers. what does he have? A plain katana. that's it. It took me three minutes to beat him. Block, fling into air, shoot face off, repeat about 5 times. Seriously though, there were normal enemies that were harder and took longer to kill than him, but it's okay because the end cutscene will be perfect and deep and make me rethink my entire life, right? Right? RIGHT?
Yay i win! do you know what the cutscene was at the end of the game? The one that ties everything together? You shove him against a rock put your sword through him AND the rock, break off the handle and walk into the sunset. Pretty @#!*% ' deep huh? I sat there dumbstruck for about five minutes trying to figure out what the @#!*% happened. then i realized "It has a @#!*% ending"
All in all though, I loved this game. great comic book like graphics, great story, great game play, I loved it. It was even free-roaming. You could go anywhere at anytime. but the ending kinda ruined it. as good as it was, i wouldn't play the original.
