This is an interview she did back in 2013 with an online heavy rock magazine. She was starting to rebuild her career after a toxic relationship had damaged her emotionally and mentally and undermined her modelling work.

Q-Hi London, thanks for taking the time to fill out this interview for us. How old were you when you first got into modeling? and what was it that made you want to take this career path?
LA -Thanks for asking to interview me! I was almost 21 when I first started modeling. I was in college. A photographer-friend in the art program needed a nude model to pose for him but he didn't have any money to pay for one. I believed in his work so I told him, "Hey! I will pose for you if you give me some prints!" And I did and he introduced me to some online modeling sites ... I just kind of took off from there.
Q-What so far has been your greatest achievement in your work?
LA-Personally, I believe that pushing the standard idea of "beauty" has been one of my greatest achievements. Trying to make a niche for women who are not a size Two - I am not alone, though - There are many wonderful plus sized models out there *also* pushing societal views and trying to show the media that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
Q-What would be your dream job (if modelling isnt it)?
LA- I would own some kind of Animal Rescue - I currently foster a bunch of different animals... it would be nice to have a non-profit rescue of my own.
Q-Are there any other models that you would like to work with which you havent yet?
LA- Not really. I've been very lucky to meet some of my biggest idols over the years through modeling and traveling the country.
Q- Have you been involved in any TV or movies? If not, would that be something you would like to get involved with?
LA -While mini online celebrity-dom is a bunch of fun for me and I really enjoy blogging. I am not the type of person who would enjoy working as an actress in major films or pictures.
Q - I recently saw your "The Breast Around" video which nearly made me wet myself laughing, could you tell me abit about this and what the point is?
LA - That short film was Written and Directed by Ryan Suits. With all the depressing media out there about cancer research and breast cancer awareness - He wanted to put a "fun" spin on it to make the subject more approachable. It is a very silly short with a BIG impact. It currently showing in many different film festivals all over the US!
Q - What is the modeling industry and "community" like in America?
LA - Online modeling is NOT like Commercial modeling or Agency modeling in the fact, that none of us have Managers and we do not split our money with a company. There are no real safety measures. There are no real "rules" ..... Online modeling can be very lucrative but it can also be very shoddy at times - It depends on how you market yourself and how often you travel and shoot. If you are modeling once a day for a month, consider yourself rich! If you only work a few days a month, plan on having difficulty paying your bills.
Q -Recently you told me that you were now semi-retired regarding modeling, What is the reason for this?
LA - In the year 2014, I will be 30 years old. I *know* that isn't "old" ... But in my industry? In the modeling world? It is - I have been modeling for almost a decade. I am ready for a change.
Q - Have you visited any other countries for modeling work?
Just the UK
LA - BBW and plus size models get a lot of descrimination in society and the media, what are your thoughts on this issues? and have you noticed any of this in your modelling career?
I ran into MORE criticism and negativity at the beginning of my modeling career than you can imagine. So much of that negativity is FED by the media. What is acceptable? What is "beautiful"... It was depressing. I was constantly struggling with my body image and how I perceived myself and how others perceived me. I had one model come up to me at a group shoot and go, "Listen. You are fat. No one is going to hire you. You are a joke. Just do yourself a favor, go home and get a real job." - Ten years later. I have been decently successful but I haven't heard of that model in years and years.... Sometimes you just need to follow you dreams and shut out the negative input of others.
Q - Where is your favourite place to go for holiday/vacation?
LA - I love the Florida Keys.
Q -Your modelling work is amazing and beautiful but also all very different without treading the same old ground, was this decision yours or that of the photographers that you have worked with?
LA - It is about 50/50 .... Half of the photographers I chose to work with because I appreciated their "vision" .... the other half hired me and they surprised me and created some wonderful and beautiful work.
Q - Who would you say is the most famous person that you have worked with?
LA - I think that they are all famous in their own ways.
Q- Have you ever been star struck before?
LA - Not really.
Q - Are there any movies, music, books or art that inspires you? also which movies and music do you enjoy the most?
LA - I love Indie music. Small venues. Loud music and small crowds. Love bluegrass and anything that involves the banjo.
Q - Where are you originally from?
LA -Syracuse NY
Q - Where do you hope to be in the next 5 years?
LA - I will have my own business in a few years. Probably grooming dogs - I have a real love for animals.
Q - Do you think having a relationship has negative effects on you in your line of work?
LA - I kept my last relationship a secret from the online world because I thought it would be better for promotion.... But then I had to ask myself, "Why am I doing this? Do I want photographers to hire me with the idea that they will be able to photograph me and then sleep with me? Am I trying to give them room for fantasy when there is NO chance of that happening?" - So one day I just stopped pretending that I was single. Because I wasn't. And it really didn't change a single thing....
Q - What kind of guy's do you go for?
LA - The wrong kind of guy. I seem to keep searching them out over and over again. Perhaps I am looking for my father... I don't know. I love men that are big, strong and fun to cuddle up to in the wintertime. Guys that are excited to be alive, that are up for anything and enjoy being sporadic. I love an inner child.... Because I love to jump in mud puddles... sometimes I run outside naked in my backyard when it rains and I live in the city! Sometimes I want to go sledding without snow .... I NEED someone like that in my life. It *isn't* that i am scared to grow up (I have been grown up for many many years now) .... But I need someone in my life to keep my inner child alive. So many people lose that when they grow up.
Q -Do you currently have a celebrity crush? if so who?
LA - I don't own a TV and I don't keep up with the news.
Q -What advice and words of wisdom would you give to people interested in getting into the modelling game?
LA - Be safe. Check your references. Understand that modeling is not glamourous all the time. You will run into terrible situations now and then and some of those situations will break you. So be careful.
