Can we talk about this, cause I think its important to bring up, since it seems like alot of people don't use critical thinking, just to try to prove a ship is more real than the other. Starting with shippers fighting that so and so doesn't know where so and so's room is. Lets not act dumb, please. BTS rented a house and its actually insane to think they don't know where each other's rooms are. We've seen in the past them doing RPS for rooms. I imagine they did this time as well, knowing them. Everyone knows where each other's rooms are. I see people saying Jimin didn't know where Tae's room is and had to be guided. Completely ignoring that before that Tae was in his room on live and Jimin was heard in there with him giggling and seen in the reflection of his glasses wearing exactly what he had on. he knows, Just like the other members clearly know. Jimin was clearly joking. I think they just try not to give so many details away on camera cause they know how things will be twisted, but they don't realize Army have eagle eyes and memory and things eventually come out. Like Jimin saying I miss you to JK during his bday live. People assumed they had not seen each other, but turns out they were practicing together right before the live. Same with Jk's its been a while when he went to Jimin's and people assumed they had not seen each other. And had it not been for Jimin's fridge telling on him and showing the date, we wouldn't have known they were just together earlier at the PTD concerts, and their dinner was afterward and we also found out it was the night before white day. Same with Jk's me too, on Jimin's miss you, when he saw him at Jin's dinner or his we wouldn't have met up if not for this show, like what are you talking about, y'all were just together at Suga's concert. I don't think they're being fake or trying to mislead, I just think sometimes they're cautious about the way they present things, but bless them, they forget this fandom is like the FBI and will always call them out. Anyways, it was bugging me so bad how people were talking about Jimin being in Tae's live in his room, only to 5 seconds later be like he don't know where his room is. FACEPALM. Stop embarrassing us, locals are watching. lol
I understand where youâre coming from, and I agree with some of your points, though I do disagree with a few others.
You seem to believe that thereâs no way the members wouldnât know each otherâs rooms but we actually have multiple examples proving thatâs not always the case.
I agree that it might seem a little unbelievable at first. After all, theyâre close, and many people assume theyâd naturally know something as basic as where the others are staying. But over the years, there have been quite a few instances that show thatâs not always true. Let me share a few that come to mind:
In the 2016 Osaka VLive (Taehyungâs), do you remember when he was told to go âattackâ the membersâ rooms? He openly said he didnât know their room numbers and had to text them to find out. This was back when they were younger and still doing almost everything together yet even then, they didnât always know each otherâs rooms.
Then thereâs the May 2019 New Jersey VLive (Jungkookâs). In that live, we saw Taehyung enter a room and find Jimin, Jungkook, and Jin there. He asked whose room it was, and was told it was Jungkookâs⌠he clearly didnât know.
Thereâs also the 2021 Vminkook VLive. Taehyung said he went to check on Jimin by visiting his room, but when he rang the bell, Jungkook answered the door. Taehyung even admitted he momentarily thought it was Jungkookâs room. That wouldnât have happened if he was familiar with which room Jungkook was in or if he regularly visited it.
So you see, thereâs real precedent for members not always knowing each otherâs rooms. Iâm sure there are other examples involving different members too, but those are the ones I can recall off the top of my head.
Now, about another point you mentioned: the idea that Jimin was in Taehyungâs room earlier. Honestly, while I agree that the giggle sounded a lot like Jiminâs, I personally donât think it was him. We could actually see Jungkook reflected in Taehyungâs glasses, so I think that moment was just Jungkook sounding a bit like Jimin.
Also, Iâm not convinced that the first place Taehyung did the Live from was his bedroom. The background seemed different. We only saw a plain white wall, while his bedroom typically features curtains and different wall textures. It could have been a different room entirely maybe even a common area.
And regarding yesterdayâs Live, it didnât seem like only Jimin didnât know which room was Taehyungâs⌠it appeared that Jungkook didnât either.
Iâm not sure if the translations are 100% accurate, if they are, then both Jimin and Jungkook genuinely didnât know where Taehyungâs room was.
I donât think they were joking or pretending. Their tone didnât sound playful, and Taehyung genuinely seemed to be giving Jimin directions on how to get to his room. That didnât feel staged or humorous. And honestly, what reason would they even have to pretend they didnât know? It doesnât serve any real purpose.
What I think is important to keep in mind is that these are incredibly busy individuals. We canât even begin to grasp the pace or structure of their daily lives. I imagine that after long hours of work, they just want to retreat to their rooms to rest, unwind, or catch up with family and friends. There are likely certain membersâ rooms that serve as casual gathering spots like Jungkookâs or sometimes Namjoonâs and those are probably more well-known.
There was a Japanese interview in 2020 where the members were asked to describe each other in one word, and Jungkook chose âlonelyâ or âlikes being aloneâ for Taehyung. I bring this up because I think itâs relevant. While Taehyung is undeniably social and values his friendships, I also believe he has moments where his social battery runs out and he prefers solitude. We saw this during in AYS⌠after having fun with the others, he often wandered off alone while Jikook stayed together. I think thatâs just how he is in shared living spaces too, and the others understand and respect that. That might be why they donât always know his exact room.
They likely have common spaces in the house where they gather, so unless thereâs a reason to visit someoneâs room, they may not see the need to keep track of whoâs sleeping where. I donât think not knowing a memberâs room number means thereâs a lack of closeness or affection. It just means they live very different lives from the rest of us.
Vmin clearly love and care for each other deeply but that doesnât mean they need to know each otherâs room location at all times. And thatâs okay.
