hey, i know you didnt mean any harm by it, but please be careful about the way you characterize cooper. black people have a long history of being considered unintelligent and stupid, and the post you used for him just sort of rubs the wrong way ^^;

Ah, thank you for this, and being polite! /genuine, but please do not take my textpost memes as me characterizing any one character a certain way. I've never once written or drawn Cooper (not that any of that's on this blog,) in such a way, so I am not characterizing him as such. I do understand how that could have came off, and I will always appreciate asks of this nature- I'm sorry that it came off that way and that I caused that yucky feeling! You're right it was not my intention, I used him for that because of his canon personality not because of his cultural coding.

I hope you don't take this as me defending the post or disregarding your feelings, absolutely is not my intention, I just have a huge issue with people putting words in my mouth (so to speak) and I only wanted to address that and make it clear I have never once thought of or characterized Cooper in such a way; and it was meant in a relatable way for me, I often have a very hard time keeping track of things and call myself stupid and dumb over it and I adore Cooper a lot so while I was making it it was more of a "he's just like me :) " thing

AGAIN! Thank you very much for reaching out, I hope I didn't word fumble anywhere in here since it's 4am and that my point hopefully came across the right way, I am genuinely sorry my post caused that feeling and I will be hyper-aware not to do it again because I would never mean to imply stuff like that!
