[she was in full-blown tears at that point, but smiling all the while. she wrapped her arms around teddi tightly.] and you’re the blue to my gold, you never gave up on me even when everyone else did. you always stuck it through whenever i made things tough and never held it against me, and you always were there to make me laugh when i needed it most. i was so lost without you, and i didn’t know what to do because i’ve never had anyone so close to me as you.

[She rocked a little from side to side, holding Michelle just for the sake of holding her, taking in the smell of her hair.  She always smelled so nice, and was so warm...and now...]  When you think about it, we've been married this whole time, right?  We're just making it official now.  And you're going to wear a really insane dress and we're going to have a wedding cake with oreo filling, except we're only going to use the finest oreos stolen from J'onn.  And from now on we're going to celebrate anniversaries and do ridiculously cheesy married couple things, but I promise it won't cramp your style.

[She pulled back from the embrace, looking the other in the eyes for a moment before smiling and pulling her into a deep kiss.]

It’s only been a couple weeks but it’s been awesome. We kissed for the first time on christmas!
